Moving To Canada Hi,
I am thinking of moving to Canada in a couple of years. I was born in Canada but moved to Scotland when I was about two years old. Can I just walk back in or do I have to apply. Surely being born in Canada makes me a Canadian Citizien and gives me the right to come back whenever I want. Could anyone help me out. Cheers Matt

http://www.cic.gc.ca/ - this will probably help. Going to google and searching would probably be better than asking a bunch of org dumbasses, but I have done the search for you.
It should answer all of your questions. -------

I'm a US citizen, and I'm thinking of moving to Canada ('cause the US is fucked). Immigration there is pretty lax; I almost meet the requirements, so I'm sure you won't have any trouble.

If you were born here, you should have a Birth Certificate. That and a little paperwork shouldn't make it too difficult.

Cheers Matt Your best bet is to check with the nearest Canadian Embassy or the British High Commission for that. Do you have a Canadian Birth Certificate? But still contact the Canadian Embassy and check it out. You might even have dual citizenship like myself... Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture!
