Now about to watch Insidious! wink Will let you how many pairs of undies I go through! biggrin

Aha! I love SAW, I have all the dvds!

I haven't seen many horrors, but I love the Saw series (especially 2 + 3), The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, the Halloween remake (still need to watch the originals!), [REC], Amityville Horror (remake), Friday the 13th, Sweeny Todd (Johnny Depp one) - but I consider that one more as a musical/drama/comedy with blood.

I wouldn't say I Spit On Your Grave is one of my favourites, it's not that good, some parts are disgusting, but it's memorable! razz

I want to see Hostel, 28 Days Later, The Descent and High Tension, and there's more but I can't remember them lol

Hahaha good luck!

Its weird, most of what you've named I didnt find that entertaining hmmm Maybe Im just just really desensitised.

.

My favs are Alien, Aliens, Jaws, The THing, The Exorcist, Rec, Ring 0, Ringu, Ring2, 28 Days Later!

.

Im really surprised you've seen I Spit On Your Grave!! eek Did yr parents allow u to watch that?

The only 'bad' movies on my list, in my opinion, are Coming to America , Dances with Wolves, and Purple Rain.

The others are decent to really good movies. But, I still think they're overrated.

that's the problem with overrated movies--I actually love some of them or think they're good movies. If you see my list on the "movies that suck..." many of these don't make that list. lol

Haha, I was at my friends place and her mum actually rented it for us! The man at the till did tell her about the 'graphic rape scene and violence and that it was banned in some places' but she didn't mind! I told my parents about it though and they were just a bit grossed out, they don't really care that much about movies.

Have you seen the Human Centipede!? lol

I love Donnie Darko. Great movie.

Overrated? Let's see...

Straight Outta Brooklyn - my vote for the worst movie ever made

Cast Away - when the only redeeming part and best character of a movie is a volleyball, well...

Forrest Gump - way too long and beat out The Shawshank Redemption for Best Picture disbelief disbelief disbelief

The Dark Knight - Ledger is as good as advertised. The rest? Eh, not a fan of Nolan's Batman

I loved it, I even love The Inkwell, for some reason Matty Rich pissed folks off - mostly his peers. Which I guess why his career is on a milk cartoon alert.

Lets see,,,,,,Harry Potter? I like my lil' fantasy films here & there but goddamn, this is a pure OVERKILL!

Well, I believe its tagline was something like "Grittier than New Jack City. More powerful than Boyz N The Hood." I didn't think it was 1/100000 as good as either of those films. shrug (I didn't mind The Inkwell at all.)

And I remember thinking the ending was monumentally ridiculous, but I've successfully blocked a lot of it out of my mind. lol

I was talking with my room mate about this.... what are some films that in your opiniona re overrated?

one for me is Donnie Darko...

i think it is a tedious, silly movie. That tries to be confusing and dark.. but i get what it's trying to do... i just don't find it deep at all and the basic meaning behind has been done a bunch of times. What is so great about the film/: ?

Another is Brokeback Mountain, the characters are cheating on there wives and they have kids... i'ms orry gay or not. No respect for cheaters especially when they have kids i thought the characters where flat and stupid.

And Takashi Mike's Dead Or Alive triology... for those who have seen it haha.

Any who what are you orgers?

[Edited 8/19/11 16:41pm]

I freaking hate the movie "Grease" with a passion. I'm a Travolta fan, I love 70's movies but I freaking that freaking movie and the horrible soundtrack, GAG!!! smile

It's weird but growing up my father never sheltered us from stuff like that. Even at a younger age. But now, I can't bring myself to let my kid see it.

Hell, my father (not a role model by any stretch) let us watch this when I was like 6 or so:
