Christian Movie Reviews The guy at the desk next to me is a pretty overzealous bible thumper. He's commenting on the movie "Chicago" and before he goes into anything about the plot, the acting, the first thing that rolls off his tounge is the amount of vulgarity in the movie.
A couple weeks prior, my boss's brother, who is a preacher, also stopped in for a moment and was talking about "Gangs Of New York" and it was the same scenario, he spent the whole time talking about how there was sex, violence, and profanity in the movie. It's almost as if the plot, the characters, the acting, the production, everything else that makes the movie what it is, is nothing more than an afterthought to them. They only watch movies to make moral judgements on them and can care less whether or not the "offensive" material is actually part of the story. Lastly, if these people are so overwhelmingly concerned with vulgarity in movies, why do they go see them in the first place then complain about it later? | |

I agree with the people who say that movies shouldn't have curse words in them. I find profanity to be very offensive and I would like it if people would just communicate without using foul and offensive language. | |
