I havnet watched any recent stuff of Chris Rock, but hes brilliant. As for Bill, I spent over an hour going through clips of his a few nights ago, I love his socialist political views and he's gut-wrenching at telling it "like it iiiisssss". . Probably woulda said Chris Rock easily, having not seen much of Bill Maher.
Just watched his show last night at a friend's house and found him pretty funny. It's close for me, I would have to see Maher's standup before I could really say.
Chris Rock's delivery gets annoying after a while. If he yelled a little more or where slightly more angry, he'd be Samuel L Jackson. His content is generally funny though. | |

Give BIll a chance, cuz he's very intelligent and has the gaul to challenge and question everything, which makes compelling viewing even when he's not making you laugh. I think you prefer stand up to satire, yeah? . Try and watch the whole documentary if you can, at least watch up to end of Part 3 cuz Bill challenges evangelists and i think ANYONE WHO EXPLOITS PEOPL'ES FAITH AS A BUSINESS IS A TREMENDOUS FUCKING CUNT!!!!!! Chris Rock of course. I never liked Bill Maher, probably never will, and he´s not as smart as he thinks he is. I find him very superficial and overrated. I like SOME of the stuff he´s done but, all in all, Chris Rock is funnier and seems to be a much nicer person, too.

Then again , Maher is not as repetitive and predictible as Chris.
