THE GOOD AND BAD ABOUT BEING A BITCH

Lets talk about bitches and all around bitch behavior. When is being a bitch a good thing and when is being a bitch a bad thing? Do you consider yourself a bitch? If so, why?

What about man bitches? Do men get passes for being bitchy or is it worse when they behave like bitches?

Discuss... coffee

I don't consider myself a bitch anymore, but I know that some others do. I guess we don't see the same things. shrug

To me there's a huge difference between standing up for yourself and setting boundaries, and being a right bitch. Being a bitch is bad, standing up for yourself is good. twocents

I like how friends can be a bitch to you and at the same time make you laugh so you cant get angry! I'm not a bitch and wont tolerate it unless it's from close friends

I'm a BAAAAAD bitch, but in a good Cleopatra Jones/Tamara Dobson kinda way. I try to use my bitch powers for good. But like Teacher said I don't equate standing up for myself and calling out bullshit when I see it as being a bitch, that's just honesty.

those are the kinds of bitches that make a boss bitch wanna cry (whilst whuppin ass)

Boss Bitch = A woman who has herself together financially, spiritually and mentally and has little tolerance for women who are bitchy just for the hell of it. Don't play the game if you don't know the fuckin' rules.

nod And too many people think it's ok to act a bitch on the internet, because they'll never see 99% of the people they talk to face to face. Why behave so badly just because people are strangers? I don't see the point. And it ain't sexy, EVER - no matter what you look like, being a bitch brings the looks down to nothing.

Do I consider myself a bitch? No, I'm sarcastic and snarky at times but it's more along the lines of like, Hyde from that 70s show, or Dr House - basically I'm more inclined towards assholery than bitchiness.

There's times though when being a bitch is a good thing. Like when a mother needs to speak up for or protect her kids, that kind of thing. Bitchiness is a bad thing when it occurs during minor and/or unimportant situations when there's just no need for it, or when it's due to cattiness, that type of thing.

When guys are bitchy I actually get the 'ewwww' feeling and lose all respect for them. And usually when guys are bitchy, they don't even have a good, justifiable reason for it. It's kind of surreal to watch grown men act like catty schoolgirls, and it's a phenomenon witnessed more and more in recent years.

According to the venerable Snoop Dogg, "bitches ain't shit but ho's and tricks". Now I don't consider myself a ho. Definitely not a trick. So it is scientifically irrefutable that I am not a bitch.

I find that some guys get scared of girls who are even slightly bitchy because they're intimidated. I don't think there's any reason to be. On the other hand, total bitches are too angry or so easily irritated that nobody wants to be around them. Pushovers tend to soothe their friends' egos at their own expense. I think the good is somewhere in between being a total bitch and being a total pushover.

It's not okay for women to act like total bitches all the time, and it's not okay for guys to act like dicks all the time.

time flies.

I'm kind of a bitch, or so I've been told. lol

If people equate outspokenness (that's a word right?) and assertiveness for bitchiness then fuck it, yeah, I guess I am.

I am sure they can. They can be bitches too. Anybody can be a bitch. The bitch - ho/trick relationship is like that of squares and rectangles.

Should they act according to what pleases other people? lol

I'd rather see someone being bitchy and true to themselves than someone being fake-nice all the time trying constantly to please and win people over. Fuck what anyone else has to say about them.

And I actually like my friends to have a little 'bitch' in them, so... cool .
