What do you guys and girls think of this?

"We are all faced throughout our lives with agonizing decisions, moral choices. Some are on a grand scale; most of the choices are on lesser points, but we define ourselves by the choices we have made. We are in fact the sum total of our choices. Events unfold so unpredictably, so unthoroughly, human happiness does not seem to have been included in the design of creation. It is only we, with our capacity to love, that give meaning to an indifferent universe and yet most of the human beings seem to have a amazing ability to keep trying and to even find joy from simple things like their family, their work and from the hope that future generations might understand more." - Woody Allen

That right there is the shit..the killer. Bravo Woody. People dont realize this statement in their lives though.

In other words people do not utilize their capacity to love..for many reasons and some dont know how as well...it's scary for them. I wish I was a musician right now.

That quote was from one of Woody Allen's many brilliant movies... "Crimes and Misdemeanors."

I STRONGLY recommend seeing it if you haven't. You should really watch it a number of times, as it is VERY powerful in many ways.

This is what you call "living with yourself" and accepting yourself for who and what you are. To be able to accept ones mistakes but remembering there is always time to correct them, being able to face the consequences of ones actions with self dignity and humbleness but not forgeting we are only human. nod If one can live with themselves guilt free knowing they "tried" the inner happiness within never goes away. smile

Colour By Numbers

When I looked in your eyes
Felt the spirit of man
Demanding more than just a smile
Took a chance for a while
Speaking in tongues
That float us down rivers
The past will remind us

Of colours we chose

When I told you those lies
Felt the spirit of love
Demanding more than comprimise
Took a chance for a while
Speaking in tongues
That float us down rivers
The past will remind us

Of colours we chose

Some people say that the way that we live
Is out of this place
And some people say that the way that we live
Is blinded by fate

Of colours we chose

I am a HUGE fan of Woody Allen... he is one of my favorite directors and writers of all time. His dramas are always amazing and I like them even better than his comedies.

Yes!

This was said by the philosopher that Woody Allen's character was doing a biography of.

Oh wink and I forgot, as long as one has inner peace and inner happiness they usually do not rely on anybody for it but just want somebody to share it with. smile ...Done! biggrin
