@ Miguel, I remember you telling me about Frank on your first trip here and we were sat at a Tapas restaurant at the mall shopping.

comfort

I still miss my great grandmother who passed in Feb 2001. She took care of me for my parents while they worked when I was really young up til I went to school. She taught me a lot. We spent lots of time talking on the phone and writing each other letters when I was older and did not live close enough to her to visit. She passed the day after her 97th birthday. I feel blessed to have had the time with her that I had. I miss her so much now that I have had a child. I really wish she could have met him.

That's wonderful that you got to know your great grandmother. Wow!! I bet you she's watching over Selden.

hug

I got to know her because she raised my dad so I always called her Mom-Mom. She is the only grandparent that I got to spend any time with but she was a lovely person.

Selden has Mom-Mom Tweed and His namesake Grandad Selden watching over him. angel

I miss my brother. He died 4 yrs ago and I still get the urge to speak to him every few days. Sucks.

Sorry to hear about your brother. My brother died four years ago this month, and I do the same thing...see something random and think about how I'd love to tell him about this or that, or how I'd love to get his advice or perspective on something. I miss him every day.

All the stories on this thread...wow. Miguel hug

Likewise, sorry about yours.

I still vascillate between whether I want pictures and other reminders around, haha. I do, but my eyes can't help but hang for a little bit every time I see them. I've never had a better friend.
