What do you do with your sex videos that you've made with ex's after you've broken up??

I have this one ex that's been asking for our old video's for about 2 years. I finally had to tell her that I got rid of them because she would have just driven me crazy asking for 'em and I dont like having to come up with excuses continually not to give them to her. The thing is, I don't really trust her with 'em, so when I left I took them and never gave her copies. I think I should just destroy em, but the truth is I burned them to a DVD and put it someplace I can't remember where...

Stuff like that is why you don't tape it in the first place.

I don't understand the appeal of taping it anyway - why, is it because of porn? People wanna feel like a pornstar or something?

Thats probably true. The only reason I kept them though was because our breakup was kinda bad and she kinda threatened me a few times with different things so it was a kind of leverage. Now we're on talking terms and we've even had sex again since then but I was just thinking the whole process of making sex tapes just opens up a whole range of negative possibilities that you dont think about until you're broken up... Its like having a child with a stranger that might show up at your door one day unexpectedly... Im afraid my currently gf's gonna be cleaning one day and find it and put it in the dvd player.

I deleted them.

I made ours back in the day of VHS, so all i had to do was tape over it, or destroy it... Never made one with an ex, just my hubby, but I destroyed them once we had the children... My whole scenario went like this..

Then my poor babies be scarred for life... Nope, they got destroyed

I was with one of my ex's for 8 years and we took some pix, not video. I ALSO kept the only copies and now I can't find them!!!!!!

LOL.. I also have this fear. What if I die and someone goes through my stuff and find all the sex vids I've made and naked photos Ive taken of myself and people I've dated... But at the same time I have an aversion to destroying them.. they're memories.

I wanna grow to be an old man and be able to tell my grandkids the great adventures I had and tell them that their granddad was like Porfirio Rubirosa with the ladies so they'll have something to be proud of...

Yes, but not with me in it. If a GF is willing to do something like that for me, for that purpose, it will be her solo. Otherwise, I've only filmed something when the WOMAN wanted to get the camera out. So your theory looses a bit a weight right there.

Agree about the getting rid of it part. I've got a few tasteful nudes pics left over from previous relationships, but in each case the woman is aware and is fine with it. One of them even asked me to pull them out 20 years later so she could see what she looked like then. Videos though, those get destroyed immediately.

Totally agree with the last part. Especially if you're going to make copies and/or keep them around after a breakup.
