London Riots

London looks like a war zone ...
It is disgusting what these mindless idiots are doing to their own communities. I feel sorry for the poor innocent people who are having to suffer this, frightened to leave their homes. Bring in the army and enforce a curfew before someone gets killed

There was a young guy, Michael Duggan was shot dead last Thursday by the police. His family and friends carried out a peaceful protest a couple of days later by the police station because they wanted answers surrounding his death. Unfortunately, some thugs decided to latch onto this and turned the protect into a violent riot, looting shops, burning buildings, buses and cars. The family have made it very clear that they do not want any of this in their sons name.

Last night there were more riots in London where people were blaming government cuts to youth services and unemployment. But this has now erupted into somethin much bigger.

I seems that a large group of people have seen this as an opportunity to cause havoc in London. The majority of East and South London is seeing major rioting on the streets: shops looted: cars, buses and shops on fire; attacks on police. We have minimal public transport and train stations closed, the police cannot cope and it is spreading across the capital and other parts of the UK: Birmingham. It's very frightening where these looters and robbers are attacking their own neighbourhoods

so, what is the answer 2 the question of U

We hardly have one now, and what we do have is in Afghanistan 'peacekeeping'.

Sounds to me like the London people were good and sick of a LOT of shit, and what happened to this kid was the straw that broke the camel's back.
