Charlie Sheen's "Two and a Half Men" character to die in debut episode of show's new season Charlie Sheen's character set to meet 'violent and bloody' death on season première of Two and A Half Men
Charlie Sheen's character on Two And A Half Men will exit the series in a bloody bang.
During the same episode, Ashton Kutcher will make his début performance as internet billionaire Walter Schmidt, who ends up buying Charlie's Malibu beach house.
Chuck Lorre the show creator reportedly considered several scenarios, including having Charlie drive off a cliff, but he settled on a bloody subway accident.
According to TMZ, sources at last night's taping revealed Charlie's character married Rose - the neighbour/stalker he flew to Paris with last season -- but things went downhill quickly when she found him in the shower with another woman.
It has been claimed the star has signed a lucrative deal with Lionsgate Television for a new sitcom that will cash in on his notoriety.
‘TBS recently expanded their comedy division with the acquisition of The Conan O'Brien Show after his fall out with NBC. [Edited 8/8/11 2:37am]

My mom and sister are fans of the show. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

They need to kill this show.
I've been hanging out in hospitals of late (very limited TV choices) I finally got to catch "Two and a Half Men".
What is the appeal of this show?

It's not the "Citizen Cain" of comidies or anything...but the show was funy. I bust a gut every episode and I believe I have good taste. The appeal for me was it semed to be a reflection of charlies actual life....his character wasn't a stretch AT ALL for him to portray. He just showed up and did iim...it was still funny tho.
I don't know why h egot paid bank...but I'm not an agent or producer...so who knows. Everyone I know thinks it's funny too(referring to people in my non-online life).

Not a fan of the show-but it is a disservice to all the fans of the show who watched it all these years to kill off a main character. His character should have just moved to Europe. Do they not see this will effect DVD sales? Look no further than Roseanne killing off Dan Conner mistake. Instead Roseanne should of had Dan off working in Alaska or something. Don't kill the main characters off. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Might've been: it IS the Daily Mail after all.

I think this goes to show just how hateful and vindictive The creator of the show is and how much he hates a man who made his piece of shit show a success. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

That's true. Look how the creators of South Park treated Isaac Hayes' character after he decided to back out of them dissing Scientology in their Trapped in the Closet episode.

Yep.
As for two and a half men I like Ashton but this is just Fail.

^Plus it doesnt bold well with fans of the show. To treat a character with such disgrace is a huge turn off to the fan base. He's being really stupid. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Yeah it's definitely over after this season. And I now believe it was stupid to let Charlie go. The show definitely needed him even if I didn't like the show, Charlie at least gave the show some APPEAL.

I love Two and a Half Men. I will definitely miss Charlie, but the real talent is Jon Cryer and the writers. The show should do fine without Sheen. Kutcher is as dumb as a fence post, but he's cute as hell, so he'll do ok too.

Right. People watched the show because of Charlie. It's possible they'll just go on to watch his new sitcom on TBS whenever that deal pans out.

Yep thats how I feel. | |

shit...that was completely and utterly justified. Isaac spent HOW MANY years participating with Trey and Matt in denigrating every other religion thought of. Including the "Mormon" episode. The Jesus and Satan fight, the palistinian and jewish sea monkeys...chef participated with all of that. But the second they make fun of his religion...he quits.
I give him credit to the notion that he probably would have gotten ex-communicated by the higher up's if he had. It'd be sad if that was the reason, but I'd hope it was that befor just being closed minded was the reason.
I think he was just being closed minded when it came to him and his.
and btw...no one can "Dis" Scientology....it "dis's" itself. It's completely rediculous. The story told is actual and factual. They took NO liberties with the story. They told the actual truth's of the "religion" AS WRITTEN BY L. Ron himself.
fuck that fuck. | |

No I understand. I just wished they had did it a different way instead of making Chef look like he was bonkers.

ohhh...i see...they were't creative about it. I can see that.
If U look into the effects of the doctrination process in scientology, U'll see they use well defined tacticts that are associated with brainwashing and cults. If U ask. ex-cultis and ex-scientology, the "symptoms" chef was exibiting in the episode aren't unfounded...though admitedly, hyperbolic.

Like politics and religion in general lol yeah I can see.

I'll say it cuz no one else did...
Sounds like he's still...

wow that's a harsh way to escort a character off the page

He's getting another show and networks are even fighting over him, I'm sure he doesn't give a shit about how they wrote him out "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

^But this is bout shiting on the fans. Charlies was the most popular character and really the only reasonanyone would watch, John Cryer nor the kid were bringing in the audience. Im not a Sheen fan but to do this to the character to spite the actor only pisses off the fans. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

it's a shame that he won't be coming back in the future to 2.5 men, for cameos. and, having rose's character push him into an oncoming train is a betrayal of cool charlie harper. it's a pretty clear fuck you from chuck to charlie, imo. hard to know who to side with, if anyone
still, sheen is not losing here. not losing at all... i bet he'll do well in a more adult-friendly sitcom [Edited 8/8/11 16:41pm]
