But you are right, and we might think Oprah has only done one movie, but she produced Beloved, Precious, and acted in Bee Movie, Charlottes Web, Princess and the Frog, and others

Yep I actually did like her role in Beloved... and let's not forget The Woman of Brewster Place, probably the best movie I've seen her do IMHO.

Although that's a tv movie, I agree it's my fave of hers. Great ensemble cast too.

Hate her all you want. She's done amazing things with her life and she continues to do amazing things for other people's lives. I have the highest respect for Op and I refuse to get into it with all the haters.

I don't think I have more respect and admiration for any woman in the world than I have for Oprah. She has influenced and positively touched so many lives all around the world, more than we can imagine.

I really think it's amazing what she has accomplished with her shows, bookclub, magazine and charity. It's all distributed around the world and she truly has put so much effort in bridging cultures, both within America as well as between inhabitants of countries around the world. Also she has brought more knowlegde and therefore understanding on so many issues people are struggling or dealing with.

She deserves every award there is available!

I don't understand how anybody could judge her overall efforts and results and come to the conclusion she doesn't deserve an award.
