NFL Hall of Fame What did u like or dislike about it? I can't believe Shannon Sharpe held it 2gether for 95% of his speech.

This is what I posted in the "NFL Strike Is Ova" thread....I didn't feel like typing it again
Deion Sanders and Shannon Sharpe had me in tears at different points of their speeches last night at the Hall Of Fame inductions.
Deion spoke of being ashamed of his mom at a point in his life because she cleaned hospitals while his friends parents owned things and were had "spectacular" jobs. He spoke of how he was ashamed of her work while she did what she did to just give him what he needed. He said he was ashamed of what she did for a living all while she did her very best to protect him. I felt he was now ashamed of having EVER been ashamed of his mom for doing honest work. He went on to say how he vowed he would do whatever necessary so she would never have to work again after being ridiculed by someone who found out his mom cleaned for a living.
Shannon spoke of how he is the second best player in his family. This was his way of saying his brother Sterling, who's not in the Hall of Fame, should be in the Hall Of Fame. Sterling began to cry and then I began to cry. Nothing like sibling love and appreciation. These are the people that knew you from "back when". They know all the shit - the good, the bad and the ugly. It's nice if at a certain age you can still have that love and appreciation for them and from them.
I didn't see any of the other speeches, but I'm sure they were just as emotional.
Catch it online if you can.
