I'm all about giving someone a chance first and foremost and if she doesn't fit the bill, I'd be more concerned about many other things right now than who plays catwoman but to try to form an opinion of the situation... she has great eyes. I think she will be stunning, plus she is somewhat nubile to gritty roles. You have to face the fact that it's corruption of innocence that really drives home that air of alluring trouble. these other women who have been mentioned, they have shown their toughness on the screen in other roles and there is nothing dicey and risky about putting them in a role like that. One thing catwomans role should never feel like- is "safe"

I think she puts the "kitty" part in just fine. All hollywood has to do is paint her some claws. It's LARGELY up to the people who casted her and will direct her to make her role work. As an obviously fine actress, I'm willing to think she may be able to do her part.

I've gotta agree Hathaway lacks the edge Catwoman is supposed to have. Should be interesting to see how they pull this off.

Guess Ill reserve judgement but on first look it looks craptastic.

We will see how Anne performs in the movie. I can't really lose my mind over one still shot. I had my doubts about Heath Ledger as well and we all know how that turned out.
