It's the most beautiful city in the world.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Come over and visit. Than you will understand. We'll drink a glass of wine at the terrace of the IJsbreker or Muziekgebouw, we'll visit a theatre or see a band play in Paradiso. We can also go to the concertgebouw for the best orchestra. Or do you like ballet more?

Or just stroll around, walking and enjoying the canalhouses, the canals, the people, the atmosphere on a nice summer day.

I'll show you around, it's the best place to be.

That it's just enough 'city' so that it's not totally boring, but it isn't packed and constant chaos like some of the really big cities must be. Plus there's a lot of greenery here for a city apparently - I read years ago that most don't have this many trees and plants and grass.

I was going to say something similar. nod

I have a nice suburban existence, but I can get into NYC between 20 min. and an hour, depending on traffic and to which part I'm going.

I live in a nice community on a quiet dead end street, just 5 minutes from my parents, not far from where I grew up. mushy

Late Summer/Early Fall heart I love the changing of the leaves. I love driving down my street when I get off of work, watching the sunset on all of the trees in my neighborhood. The leaves are so red, the tree looks like it's on fire. Kind of like my hair when I first get it done.

The fact that I know my way around here.

Did I say "around"?... I meant "away from"

Actually, I like some of the people even though I never talk to any of them.

it's got a lot of good points but I really hate the weather and the overall "feel" of the place.

sometimes it's ok, so many people like the classic rock around here that i like but that might be everywhere. i don't know. It's cool sometimes but it makes a better vacation spot i think.
