I think it is a boderline case because I am not stationary - it is not one specific place at all.

I am so glad I did this! Really, I just could not imagine leaving New England and not at least meeting the two of you. I had hoped that crazy young thing, Acrylic, would have shown up but she has deffinately fallen off of the org radar.

Gosh, so many things I thought of. If I stayed I would deffinately plan for us to meet up regularly because we could never run out of things to say.

Also, right now I have again got a phone wet or something so I am unreachable. It happened somehow on the way home or whatever. Maybe I got it wet from the water in my bag. Who knows. So much to do before Friday.

OH, and Peter Pan no longer has the "Discover" pass that allows you to travel all you want so I need to be a bit more careful than I was hoping I had to be.

I can not believe this was your first meet up! You are so outgoing and friendly. Honestly, if I stayed I would soooo plan further hook-ups with the two of you! Shorty is so funny, she is this very down to earth person inside a china doll body I really loved meeting you both and felt a bit of a lump when we parted ways.

So far there have not been a whole lot of responses but I will take pics of each stop. phycodelcide may see me in Cleveland and there is the N.Y. stop and that is all so far. It will be fun to see people in N.Y. Friday at 8pm. I need to know where to meet up. I have never gotten off the train there before.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. I think this is the first time my picture has been posted on the org.

My bus will not get into NY until 9:30pm so I need to orgnote some people and let them know.

Phone update;

Got new phone since old one died and as of yet can not check emails and orgnotes. Hopefully soon.

If anyone else is interested in seeing me let me know, otherwise it is straight on to Pensacola.

Acrylic is in conneticut right now. org note her. did you ever check into the train as an option?

where was she? Train takes longer so I figured since there was no one between Worcester and NY I would just treat myself to the bus,. The chairs are more comfortable for sure and you have power for the phone and dvd or cd player too.

Thanks. Pensacola was my destination point for now. Eventually I want to move to New Orleans because that is where my heart is. As you know NOLA is one of the most depressed areas in the USA and right now waiting on a tropical storm/hurricane. Still, I can not get it out of my mind.

Meanwhile the trip was well horrible, lol. I was stuck in Manhattan starting at a little after 1am on Saturday and could not get out of there until 10am Saturday. No one was available to meet me at those times for sure and everyone in that area was dealing with preparing for Hurricane Irene.

I did not get a ticket through Cleveland so I did not get anywhere near psychodelicide. No one beyond the NY/NJ area org noted me and said they would like to meet up with me.

Basically I met paintedlady and shorty 4 days before in Boston and that was it. My 50th birthday was spent entirely in Greyhound stations and in a way that's good. It you can't have a memorably good 50th birthday it is nice to have a memorably bad one .

Anyway I am not on the org much so I was not someone many people knew well. That may have been why there was little or no interest in meeting me. I think if a more established orger did the trip this thread would have been loaded with pictures.

I think it was not the best timing for most people. It was the last few days before the kids went back to school. PurpleJedi had to help someone move and then there was Irene smack dab in the middle of it all. You know I believe that things happen for a reason and that maybe there was a bigger cosmic reason why things went the way they did for me.
