Cowboys & Aliens Has anyone seen this movie yet? Would you recommend it?
It doesn't open in the UK until 17th August, but I managed to score some tickets to a free screening on 16th. I love Daniel Craig in anything but must admit I haven't heard much buzz about this film.
At the end of the day it's free so I'm gonna watch it anyway, but it would be good if it was worth watching too. "I know that living with u baby, was sometimes hard...but I'm willing 2 give it another try.

- I just wanted to know whether I should be excited about this film or not? I liked it. Lots of action, and it's as believable as a science fiction movie can be, too. Daniel Craig was good. The only real weak point was, IMO, Harrison Ford. He's morphed into everyone's grumpy grandpa. | |

Oh, so you just want reviews and stuff lol.
I never really take reviews into account because taste is so subjective; I've had people tell me this or that movie is awful, then I watched it and loved it; or vice versa. Or I'll pick a random movie on my own, watch it, love it, and then when I mention it to other people they'll tell me it was horrible... and then I'm sitting there like " "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day | |

BTW, the end of the climactic fight may bring up serious emotions for those involved in or big fans of the US space program. Be prepared. | |

. I heard mixed reviews about this movie as well, but if you look at it more as a straight up western featuring a bunch of cowboys and the extra-terrestrial evil aliens as a substitute for Indians or rowdy bandits, you'll enjoy this movie. Think of Daniel Craig's character being like Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford's character being like John Wayne or Gary Cooper, but they hunt down aliens. 
It was cool, and fun at some parts as a few mentioned. But it drags and it predictable as hell Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
