And you can avoid most of the nuts that live in the P-related forums. Even tho GD got it's own brand of fools.

I can't stand the Prince section..It's full of mostly whiners who complain about how much Prince;s music has changed and blah blah....full of top 10 worst songs, worst albums..It's a tad negative for a huge Prince fan such as myself.

Music section is alright, can get quite boring though with the discussions. Only when there's controversy about someone, that's when that place lights up.

GD is the best, full of interesting people, great range of discussions and people here are not afraid of being honest and opening up about their feelings or problems. Great forum imo.

well, in the general discussion's forum anything and everything goes except for religion/politics and music topics.

here topic wise we are free to go where "no man/woman has ever gone before." i like to call the general discussion forum the "all peoples" forum.

we can ask serious questions, add newly released information on clothing designs, people, places and things, get to know other orgers opinions, and be fetterless to express.

(i also spend a lot of time in the "Music: Non Prince" forum with my )

There's not enough Bria threads to troll in lately... so yeah I'm up in GD... you know the funniest stuff happens here!

But in all honesty, having been here as long as I have it seems that most GD topics are now recycled and I have no interest in revisiting those topics with the current crew of orgers since a lot of my fave people don't post anymore. But I'm happy to kick it with the fly girls, sip on a glass of merlot and chop up some housewives and other hot messes

i come here cause we can discuss anything and everything and i like the ppl here

i also visit the Org Artist Community because the ppl that post there r very interesting and cool

all the other ones i skim through... post on topics that interest me ... so PandR is not a place i visit 2 often... i find those 2 topics so uninteresting

sometimes i think there should be a SEX forum just 4 me

Actually, I spend some time in the Music:Non-Prince forum, although not as much as I used to because many of those topics are recycled, especially the Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Lady GaGa, or I hate Rihanna, Chris Brown, Katy Perry, (insert popular act currently on BET's 106 and Park here) threads, etc. But the Amy Winehouse tribute thread has been quite interesting these past few days, as it not only touches on her life and music but her obvious struggles with drugs and alchohol, which obviously is going to create a lot of dialogue for and against her lifestyle, with some people condemning it and other being more sympathetic because they have gone through the same struggle.

Now I only usually go on the Prince thread when he is actively doing something, like releasing an album, making a concert or TV appearance, etc. I don't want to spend time contemplating with other Orgers over what hair conditioner he uses in the morning. And while I occasionally go into the P&R forum, I'd rather spend more of my political pontification on sites made for that purpose like Huffington Post or Daily Kos.

Because a great majority of the time when I go to the Prince forum all the topics look like things I've already discussed or commented on in the last 8 years. When I go to the Music Non-Prince it seems like all the topics are about the same tired music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, just re-hashed over and over. I go to both of them regularly and I post now and then, but most of the time I'm just not inspired or interested enough to say anything.

Politics and Religion... please! Have you SEEN me in General Discussion?! My head would explode in Politics and Religion. Since that would actually make more than a couple people happy, I stay away.

I've never heard their music and don't want to hear it... ....but I've definately heard of the artists from seeing their name all over the board. I've never heard a single song from Lady Goo Goo-Ga Ga or whatever the hell her name is but I feel like I know her personally from seeing her name all over the place in thread after thread....after thread.
