I often wonder how completely child free flights would work, it sounds impractical.

As it is I've noticed they seat babies and toddles to the back of the plane on longer flights, which IS and ISN'T so good. One of the cons is that babies who cry tend to wake up otherwise sleeping babies and then you end up with a whole bunch of babies crying.

I was heartbroken when my 6 year old was in such pain with his ears on the descent on our flight home in May, he sat there silently, tears streaming down his face, and I was helpless to alleviate the pain. I'd bought him ear planes (which work for me) but his ears are so small they won't stay in sad

pat

Isn't the back of the plane WORSE for the ear popping?

question

no idea!!!

Normally I always get seated right over the wing hmmm

can we please ban folk from bringing their babies and toddlers to the damn movie theater on premier night?

I missed about a third of Captain America all cuz some baby kept crying and some 2 year old kept wandering up and down the aisle unattended and then somebody changed a baby diaper and it was nothing nice. mad

You should have gone to management and demanded your money back. That's why I rarely go to movies - fucking stupid-ass people....

Honestly, I think it's overkill and that the problem isn't kids being everywhere, and I don't agree that kids should be banned from a shitload of places.

The problem is lazy parents who don't bother raising their kids right and showing them the proper way to act in public.

which is exactly why it is a great idea to have kid-free places.

I am all for places that kids aren't allowed but where does it stop? Can we stop loud annoying ppl from being in nice restaurants?

Just for the record, we are flying with our 23 month old son soon. We paid a full fair for his ticket same price as an adult ticket. We will do our best to keep him entertained, and comfortable if the pressure bothers him. I refuse to be one of those parents that stops living life for fear of upsetting others around me. I have to fly home and I have to take my child. Simple as that! Unless I am expected to leave him here by himself so others don't have to be bothered by him. lol

Here again it is a case of a few ppl that refuse to control their children ruining it for everyone else including other parents.

Most parents don't know how to actually parent their kids. If they did, this would not be an issue.

When I was a kid, I knew what I could do and not do out in public. All my Dad had to do was look at me and I knew how to behave. I wasn't the least bit scared of my Dad, but I knew how to behave because he made me behave properly out in public. If I didn't, we went home and he followed through with that a couple of times before I learned my lesson.

Todays parents don't have a clue how to teach their kids proper behaviour and if they do know how, they can't be bothered. They're too hung up on being "friends" with their kids and not hurting their feelings.

I'm all for "no-kids-allowed" at many public places.

I don't disagree with it at all. Some places should be kid-free or at the very least offer a kid-free alternative. I think movie theaters should stop letting kids under a certain age into movies at certain hours. I think cruise lines should have kid-free cruises (if they don't already).

In most (not all) cases, I think having kid-free alternatives would suffice in place of not allowing kids altogether.

No appreciation for the little ones. What kind of a society have we become to treat our children like this?disbelief Banning them? If this is a question of unruly children..then the parents are to blame. They obviously aren't doing the best job parenting their kids. Kids will act out if they feel they aren't loved or feel they aren't accepted.

But you can't force people do properly parent their kids, and when kids are acting crazy in public...it's just a mess.

Though I will say, there are plenty of parents who are actually parenting their kids so they know how to act in public, and I don't think all kids should be banned just to avoid the bad seeds.

time flies.

Well the first thing we need to do is stop this romantizing these children. Terms like precious lil snowflakes and little ones make it out like all children are the most wonderful things in the world and we all should be amazed and astonished bout them everytime we lay eyes on them.

Children for the most part are self absorbed, selfish, demanding, needy attention seeking whores. Plain n Simple. Im not blaming them for it but its what they are.

Just cause parents gave birth to the lil rugrats doesn't mean that they have free reign to take there precious bundles of joy and impose them on everyone else and then give the side eye when others raise their eye brow as your baby genius melts down in the courtyard at the local mall.

Back in the day, you got yourself a fucking baby sitter and left the child(ren) at home.

Hell, after today... I am all for not having my kids around you nasty assed adults.

Seen a woman I grew up with, she is at least 5 years older than me, salivating at my son saying shit like ....

"Oh he's 11? I'll be coming by in 10 years to break him in! He is soooo handsome. "

Nasty whore. Weirdo slut, can't you stop thinking about your gross lonely dried up old pussy for two seconds to behave properly around someone's child? WTF??? Who says that to a mother of a child? Like that crap is OK? Where's Chris Hansen?
