Looks good! Goes further back that I have ever heard. Seems there is a connection between the spider and his parents. Were they killed for some reason connected to the research firm and the spider?

And is it my phone or is all the pov swinging through the city 100% cgi? I looks like cgi.

Gwen looks good... Seems there is some
Connection Between her parents and peter's... (the brief case seems to lead PP to the research firm and the spider...

Looks like a movie worth seeing. I actually haven't seen a spidey movie. I hope

that doesn't make a difference in the story line.

This is a new reboot. So none of the other movies have anything to do with this one. This is a new origin. And by the looks of it is closer to the original comics.

Ehhhh...I don't know. That sequence where he's running across rooftops looks exactly like a first-person shooter video game! And, I don't like the way the web shooters are positioned on his costume. Something about them that looks weird. I still wish they hadn't rebooted Raimi's series, but I would've wanted the studio to let him make the movie HE wanted to make and not have a repeat of Spiderman 3 (yes, I'm STILL hatin' on that movie; it was okay, but it could've just been sooo much better).

Who exactly is the villain supposed to be here? Who was asking if they were ready to play God?

I think the shooters are fine. As long as they are not organic.

And the city thing look sill...like a video game.

In the reboot, Spider-Man will battle one of his oldest foes, Dr Curt Conners, AKA The Lizard.

^

Highlight to see. wink

I don't know about that. In S1, Peter was bitten by the spider at the science exhibit, like in Amazing Fantasy #15.

Yes but by a radioactive spider not like the one in Raimi's movie.

I am amazed by how little I care about this, time was when I was excited about any superhero movie

Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Is it the fact that it's a reboot that's giving it that "yawn" factor? If so, I'm partially suffering from the same thing!

Now ya'll have me confused, but then that's nothing new for me lol

Either way, I'll probably give it a spin.

I dig it.

There's a lot of Spider-Man buzz at Comic-Con right now.

I have to explain all of this to my little boy!!

Why is peter parker a boy?

Why when he grows up is he a different peter?

Why has he been bitten again?

Why is Mary Jane (or aunt may, or anybody else) different?

Why is his uncle alive again? (this one took an age to explain that he was dead!!!!!)

I must admit the trailer was exciting but yawn there better be a good twist or added dimension to the plot or this is just spider bites man, man become spider, saves people. Seen it!

Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

the fact that it's a reboot when imo there is no need 2 reboot it. all of rami's films had the lizard set up so why go all the way back making rami's films like a different dimension?

alexander- problem with spidey 3 was too much focus on sandman when the audience was set up so much for venom and then when venom did appear it was like ..5 mins!! ugh!!

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Yeah, I wasn't too cool with that whole 2-villian thing. Either focus on one antagonist or have them together from the very start, as a duo or team.

And like you said, a reboot was soooo unnecessary. I guess they had no choice after Raimi left, then Tobey, but if they had just let Raimi make the movie he wanted to make, we wouldn't be in this mess now.
