I dug Nickelodeon because it was cool seeing international programming. I thought of it like traveling a bit everyday.

You Can't Do That On Television was definitely a favorite of mine, but I also recall really liking some of the earliest shows like Tomorrow People, The Third Eye, Today's Special, Double Dare, Dusty's Treehouse, Hocus Focus, Livewire and What Will They Think of Next?

Then there was Pinwheel. It annoyed the crap out of me that it would stay on for hours and hours! shake But at a certain point, I appreciated it being on in the background as I played around the house on days off from school. Something about the constancy was comforting.

my ass is SO old that I remember when Nickelodeon actually first started.

It was around my kindergarten year, and I would watch Pinwheel relentlessly. They also had a video show, this was before MTV, that played once a week. I saw Chrissie Hynde on it for the first time and was all drool over her, even at that young age. lol Reggie Jackson had a sports show on it for a few years too, and I was a total geek for that one.

as I grew up a little, You Can't Do That On Television and Mr. Wizard's World became became must see TV for me. Double Dare was cool and I would watch it everyday after school. Danger Mouse, Inspector Gadget, The Monkees, and Lassie were all watched.

In my teen years, I still watched it, but mostly just for Ren & Stimpy and the occasional other cartoon. When I saw Salute Your Shorts or Keenan & Kel, I laughed a lot, but I had lots of other things going on in my life by then.

But here I am, a grown ass man, and I still end up having it on for Spongebob, the Fairly OddParents or even Yo Gabba Gabba! (don't sleep on that one!)

hell yeah, I'm a Nick fan!!!

I wish they would start a "Classic Nick" channel where they'd show all the shows they aired in the 80s and 90s

You can't do that on Television

Are you Afraid of the Dark

Kids Incorporated (that was Disney, I know but CMON that show was the BEST)

I knows theres a bunch more I just can't remember.

Way better than the shows that are on now. Theyre all the same, Icarly, Victorious, Zoey,Big Time Ruch, Hannah.......holy shit if they'd put on a show where the kids aren't in a band and don't dress like skanks.....

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside
