Do you still have your VHS player? What movies do you still have?

There is a used record store in my area. their VHS movies range from $1.95 up to $3.95. I go there once in a while to find classic movies that are not on DVD. (I have 2 DVD players)

So anyway, when I finish watching O-11, I plan to watch the 1976 film "Sparkle," starring Philip M. Thomas (from Miami Vice) Irene Cara, and Lonette McKee.

i have a couple of vhs players but haven't used them in years. in the last 10 years they've only been used to playback material to convert to dvd

i also have my laserdisc setup for the same reason. i have 2 of them

i also have both versions of o11 on dvd and the new trilogy on hd-dvd. i might have the old one on blueray, same with the manchurian candidate original

we have a dvd/vcr combo...i gave all our vhs to the salvation army.

My son refuses to get rid of his james bond collection, i told him Id replace them all with dvd's...he says no, hes into vintage shit. he also has a wicked jackie chan collection.

I dealt with VHS as a kid because we had to, there was nothing else. But I was always exasperated by the whole rewinding process, so when DVD came out, I was happy as hell and never looked back at VHS.

Same here. When I bought a DVD recorder, I used the VCR to transfer my tapes onto DVDs. And after I transferred them all, I still keep a VCR for backup when the DVD recorder wants to act a fool. Sometimes, I will put a disc in it, and it will say "bad disc" but it will be perfectly fine in a few hours or sometimes a day or two later. If I really want to record something from the TV and that damn DVD recorder wants to act a fool that day, I be damned if I'm going to miss my chance to record it. I simply record it with the VCR and transfer the tape when that DVD player decides to act right.

They really need to get the flaws out of these DVD recorders. I thought it was just mine but a friend of mine and my sister have one and theirs does the same thing from time to time.

My old VCR died this year and I replaced it with a VCR/All region DVD player combo because I still have some music videocassettes that have never been released on DVD.

I sold all my VHS movies on ebay long ago.

I have a vcr/dvd combo, but I can't even remember the last time I watched something on vhs I barely watch dvds as well. I tend to just pick stuff off of the netflix instant
