Superman was born on a different planet, faster a speeding bullet, can move mountains, and can fly

um spiderman is from earth, superman is not.

I was going to say superman has always been really great looking but that might be a matter of taste, and tv.

I'll tell you what makes them equal: they are two superheroes that, despite their awesome, unstoppable powers, are obsessed with getting a civilian job rolleyes neutral

ergo, they're fools, lol

First of all, Superman is really Kal-El, an orphan from the planet Krypton which disintegrated when the star it orbited around went supernova. When he arrived on Earth, because the star the Earth orbited around was yellow and had burned a little longer than other stars, it gave him natural abilities far greater than the average human. As for Spiderman, he really is a nerdy dude named Peter Parker who was bitten by a radioactive spider, and the venom caused his genes to mutate, giving him the ability to do things spiders do, like cilmb walls and make webs.

No, actually what makes them fools is the fact they both want to work for newspapers. The newspaper is a dying industry; they should be trying to get jobs in cable TV news.

uuuuh, Clark Clent could easily move to online newspapers, and Spidey works as a photographer, and online newspapers will always need pics, lol

that said, they're still fools

They're both nerds by day and tight-wearing superheroes by night is probably the only similarity.

The differences?

One can fly with a cape and another uses a web?

Superman is from DC comics (most of these guys wear capes)

Spiderman is from Marvel these guys bare it all in their close fitting outfits.

I think I like that fact. "No capes."

Superman is a reflection of American nationalism in my opinion.

Spiderman is a reflection of post-pubescent teenage fantasies to be something more than they are.

Spiderman is far more interesting to me than Superman. I remember when watching the old Superman T.V. shows (the black and white ones), I wanted superman to get his ass kicked so many times it wasn't even funny.

Spiderman can not make webs! That was some corn the makers of the movie made up (the new one is said to get it right)!

It seems to come from venom would could spin his own webs. When PP got the black spider suit in secret wars. It spun its own webs.
