u know. Alton Brown wanted to ice his punch bowl, but all the ice cubes have too much surface area and met too quickly. So he took a baloon and fill it with water and froze it(while in a bowl). Then he took the rubber baloon off. That has less surface area and mels less quickly...GENIUS....kinda

I would fill 2-3 vinyl exam gloves and use them. The vinly ones don't have much taste and wouldn't mess up the taste of the water so U could leave them in the glove and wouldn't melt and water down the punch AT ALL.
