From a photographer perspective i'd say i agree. They don't do you any favours and are stereotypically cheesy/contrived. I am assuming they are promo's for something. If this is the case id sack the photographer(unless of course this is the look you are going for)

I think it was your "Aroud The World In A Day" video. At the end you said that you didn't have any friends that like Prince, and the only people who you could talk to about Prince was the people on the org. You sounded really sad when you said it.

I didn't feel offended at all, why would I if somebody doesn't dig my looks/the photographer's work? I don't have the right to. I just find it funny that you are talking about promotional shoots and sacking the photographer and all that, when all those pictures are is some fotos taken at a friends home who does it for fun. We wanted to make some portrait shoots, which is extremely difficult, if you not want to look boring and not be cheesy at the same time.

I'm satisfied with the work, certainly looks better than home-made to me, even if I don't have to like my face or the posing. It's not promo or anything, those are photos made by a friend for a friend, just for fun.

Ok i guess i jumped the gun on that then, apologies.. For just messing around they are technically sound enough. Cheesy poses aside, the shot where you are wearing black in the shadows looks like a floating head/neck.

Wow...whats with the nitpicking of someone's pics, honestly. Dave posted some pics of himself....this thread is called photoho semi-pro, pro, or webcam shots it don't matter...just about everyone that posted including myself knows what this thread is about. If you don't like someone's pics honestly keep it moving or post your own so we can nitpick yours.
