I'm all for it. My husband and I go out for dinner once or twice a week and I hate sitting near unruly brats who's parents are oblivious. If it's somewhere like a burger joint I don't care, but at a place where I'm spending a good whack of money, I don't want kids there.
Some parents have taught their kids how to behave in nice restaurants and they enforce that behaviour, but most don't give a rat's ass and don't care that their kids are bothering people.
Right I'm all for it as well....I see no problem with it at all.
I was in a boutique a few weeks back and in the middle of the store...in the section to try on the shoes were sofas and long cylindrical shaped pillows...two young boys..about 6 and 5 proceeded to jump on the sofas and sword fight with the pillows right the middle of the damn store.....Where were their parents?..No where to be found... a sales associate was forced to scold the young boys and tell them to not play on the sofas....out comes the mother all of a sudden from behind one of the clothing racks totally unperturbed.... who then had the nerve to yell at the associate for scolding her kids...no apologies...I would be so embarrassed if those were my kids...in some places yea if you cannot teach your kids how to behave in certain public settings they shouldn't be in there. End of story. And kids seem to have the biggest tantrums when they are out in public settings..I've seen it all....a recent one ...a kid refused to get up from the floor and was literally dragged along by her very frustrated father while she cried and yelled obscenities at him all the way as loud as possible..this was in the middle of mall and of course kids cannot be banned from malls...but still so embarrassing. So any place they can have restrictions so that adults can have some peace doing what they are doing..I say go for it. Children can be taught how to behave in public. It is not an impossible feat.
Hell in the hair salon I go to there is a huge sign that says..No kids unless they are being attended to. Everyone adheres and nobody has a problem with it. |

i was so mad, it was veterans day and some place had free meals for vets. Well someone took me there as a surprise... and we waited for 4 hours to save $10 on a tiny steak. (it was a limited menu of about 5 things all under $10).
I was so mad but I never let her know... it was sweet of her. but still 4 hours! damn!
Oh dayum! That would piss me off terribly. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I never said that it was anything other than that ?....this is a message board, of course it's an opinion. lol.
Another FAIL.
Yes, it is a message board but people back up their opinions and beliefs with facts.
Facts and opinions can co-exist on a message board. The fact that it is a message board does not mean facts are not present.
So when you state an opinion as fact, as you did, expect that to be pointed out, especially when your opinion is contrary to the facts.
STFU and leave me alone. I wasn't even talking to you. |

Grow up already. It's a message board remember? That's what orgnotes are for. Otherwise . . . . I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

I don't need you where you don't need to be. You're always looking for an argument, always looking to pick a fight where there is none. I say one thing about a message board and you go on about opinions and facts and what not for what reason? Just to fight? Cause that's all you seem to like to do. |

Because I disagreed.
But do I NEED a reason? I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |
