Yesterday, with it being Sunday, I was taking a nap and as I was about to fall asleep, as I lay there with both of my dogs on either side and snuggled up with my faux fur blanket and goose down comforter, I thought, "Now this is how I want to go" To just fall asleep like that and not wake up. Of course, not until I'm 95! So it made me think, how do you want to go?

I want to go like my great grandma did. She got up one morning (at the age of 89) and just keeled over in the bathroom. She wasn't sick - it was just her time.

That's funny you ask Penelope. Well, I'd like to "go" as my grandfather did ... mind you I'm a woman so details might be a bit different. Mid 90s, asleep in his bed next to his second wife (who, by her accounts, he was still "bedding!"), didn't wake up in the morning. We should all be so lucky to die, happy, in our sleep, after living a long life.

I would like to be in a thatched hut or a cabana somewhere tropical when I'm 90 (or when my body ceases to respond) and I can fall asleep on a hammock facing the ocean and never wake up.

Or if my mind is ceasing to respond, pop a whole bottle full of Viagra and go at it 'til my heart explodes.
