Annual events? I guess you have to book a lot of them.

Facebook? Dunno. I guess I don't fully utilize Facebook but I presume if you're contacting me on Facebook you already know me.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Yeah a few of their choices I question too. Like I would think if I'm hanging around in a men's clothing store, as a woman, normally you are buying clothes for your man or whatever, or maybe men don't think like that. shrug The interstate train is pointless if you work in the same city you live in, there would be no need in even taking the train.

Nana and Soi Cowboy.

Or Silom, but then they wouldn't be interested in women.

But if you mean in general, the good single men are probably snatched up by age 23 or 24.

And online dating sites? Like Craigslist?

I wouldn't think women would be high on that.

Maybe match.com but not much different than Craigslist.

I'm kinda liking these right here, and to No.5's High End Grocery Stores I would also add high end cafes.

I'm also thinking club/hobby gatherings. Like maybe events fo special interests like photography, wine tasting, etc. Or singles organizations based on centered around faith (New Age, Buddhist, Christian, or etc). coffee

I met my bf at a friend’s birthday party. It’s as good a place as any. smile

I think the key with that and most of these is you need to be social (put yourself out there!) and finding someone with common friends or interests gives you an “in” to begin a conversation without it being so “hey – I’m looking for a date!”.

For years I wasn’t really putting myself in situations where it was even possible to meet somebody. In fact, the night I met my bf I was planning to leave early and almost did but he’d caught my eye and I decided at the last minute (my ride was leaving) to stay and be social a little longer.

Volunteering, group hobbies, taking classes, those are the really good advice in my mind because hey – you’re having fun anyway. You’re doing something you enjoy and becoming a more interesting (and attractive) person in the process.

Define "good"

Good to his mother?

Good at his job?

Good in bed?

Good at internet stalking?

It all depends on what you want him to be good at!
