"Normal" FOODS you JUST can't EAT!

FOR ME, it has to be liver.

Lawd, hammercy, if a t-bone stake had an asshole, it would taste like liver. disbelief

I used to also hate ocra, but now I like it if it's prepared right.

You most have an incredible gag control.

Actually, it's probably just because I'm not American, and therefore it doesn't even make sense for me to answer this thread, as I'm sure whatever I think is normal you lot will find repulsive if not worse. Incredible what other cultures can stomach. lol

Jello used to make me gag when I was a kid; couldn't eat the stuff. I can eat it now though; doesn't bother me. I used to HATE liver when I was a kid. NOW? LOVE IT! I'll slap yo mama for some liver and onions, rice and gravy with a side of fried okra or collard "greeuns" and homemade buttered Parkerhouse rolls. lol

Fish & seafood. Not all, but most. A couple of months ago, I ordered a quiche from my favorite restaurant, took one bite and ill CLAMS!!! Shrimp yes, crab yes, with butter and cocktail sauce, but cooked into something, with a cream sauce? Nooooo! And if we're having side dishes with the seafood, cook them separately. Don't cook crab legs, potatoes & corn in one pot. I don't want the potatoes & corn to taste fishy (crabby).

Liver

Chitterlings

Ox tail soup

Eel...sushi (goes with the fish/seafood)

Coffee. I really hate the taste of coffee.

I love it homemade but I would never ruin it with potato chips. My great grandmother made the most tasty baked mac n' cheese. drool

I grew up thinking Kraft was Mac & Cheese (hispanics don't generally eat the stuff).

It wasn't until about 6 years ago at a party, where I tasted southern-style homemade baked macaroni & cheese that I really DISCOVERED it!

I wouldn't put potato chips on it either. My weird mac n' cheese thing is that I love it on top of a piece of garlic bread. Something about the two tastes and textures together is yummy. And carbo-licious.

You obviously have not had it made correctly. Do you like any comfort foods or are you even a cold hearted mofo when it comes to food?

Me too. I love just about any type of food, but I will not eat liver. Just the texture is enough to gross me out!

Really? Was it the kind of cheese they used? Because if it was Kraft with that weird cheese powder substance, I don't blame you. But homemade, it's just pasta, cheese, butter, milk, maybe some other flavorings depending on who makes it. All good stuff. What's not to love?
