we have a samsung 42 in LCD....it died about 2 yrs after we bought it...

(it wouldnt turn on)

we probably should of bought a new TV instead of forking out $$ to fix it....

we had same problem with our 42" Panasonic plasma - power button needed replacing. We kept switching it off there instead of using the remote to put it on standby. It was still under warranty

Its not working but the anger has now turned 2 frustration & bitterness 2wards anything electrical!!!Its my own fault 4 loving tv so much eye guess!!!

You're not alone. I would be friggin miserable without my TV! I haven't invested in the flat screens yet. I still have those ancient box TV's, but as long as they're working fine, bump a damn flat screen. I don't have the money to spend on a new TV anyway, and my old boxes work just fine for me. And if anybody comes to my house and talks shit about my "old" TV's, they can get the fuck out or buy my black ass a new flat screen!

If it aint broken dont try & fix it!!!What eye would give 4 an old box tv right now!!!!
