I was factually correcting your statement not assessing the damage of potential molestation versus actual cheating.

Right. So I changed my statement to more accurately reflect the comparison being made.

Sorry man, but I don't give the pedophiles a pass because they happened to get caught before they could follow through with the act (yes I know...the actress isn't actually a minor). Mentally, they are no better than the people that actually committed the crime, they're just less fortunate in that they were caught and stopped.

And since we're assuming to know how the family feels or how hurt they are, I doubt they all act like it's all good if whoever is manning the camera busts in on Chris and his mistress before the deed ever goes down...even if those archaic, never enforced laws you mention would state that he never actually committed adultery at that point.

'Terrified': To Catch a Predator host who was 'caught cheating on his wife also sent explicit photos to his mistress'

A week after it emerged that he was allegedly cheating on his wife with a TV reporter, it has now emerged that To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen also sent her explicit pictures of himself.

The NBC anchor is said to be terrified that the steamy pictures will be leaked and end up on the internet - something he has seen happen first-hand on his TV programme - which catches would-be internet sex perverts.

The candid photos were said to have been emailed to his alleged mistress Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old Florida journalist, only days after his first sexual encounter with her.

According to the Enquirer, the broadcaster sent her at least two explicit images from his cell phone.

Insiders close to Hansen and Ms Caddell said: 'Kristyn showed clsoe pals a couple of steamy photos that Chris took of himself and then emailed to her.

'The photos were taken shortly after the first night Kristyn met Chris in a bar and went back to his room for a night of sex.

'One of the images shows Chris standing in a hotel room in front of a large mirror. He's wearing only a white bathrobe that's completely open - showing off his entire chest and midsection - with one hand concealing his genitals.'

The source also told the Enquirer that there was another similar pose of him lying on the bed and although you could not see his face, it was the same bathrobe and the same hotel room.

'Once again Chris let's it all hang out and uses his hands to cover his privates. The photos were obviously intended to be erotic and make Kristyn hot but they came across as sort of cheesy - and even made her laugh.

'She cracked a couple of jokes about his size and sexual performance.'

The 51-year-old has allegedly been having an affair with the blonde - who is young enough to be his daughter - for the last four months.

Two weeks ago he was recorded taking Miss Caddell on a romantic dinner at the exclusive Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manalapan, before spending the night at her Palm Beach apartment.

Secret cameras filmed the couple as they arrived at the hotel for dinner and then drove back to her apartment - where the pair left, carrying luggage, at 8am the following day.

Hansen lives in Connecticut with his wife Mary, 53, but he has been spending more and more time in South Florida investigating the disappearance of James 'Jimmy T' Trindade - and allegedly sleeping with Miss Caddell.

After the alleged cheating scandal was broken by the Enquirer, Hansen was said to have become a 'nervous wreck' and demanded that Kristyn delete the steamy photos of him for fear they would end up on the internet in any Anthony Weiner-style scandal.

The source said: 'You would think Chris - who sees first-hand how emailing risqué photos can cause trouble - would know better than to do it himself.'

Hansen has worked for NBC for two decades, but became famous with his controversial Dateline series To Catch a Predator.

The show's producers work with online watchdog Perverted-Justice, whose volunteers pose as underage girls offering sex on the internet.

But when they arrive to meet the girls, they find themselves confronted by Hansen, his film crew and sometimes the police.
