Okay, so I like this look. But I showed it to my wife, and she had a different opinion. sad

She basically said:

1) This cut would over-emphasize my high hairline and tall forehead.

2) She likes my "Jim Carrey Dumb & Dumber fringe" bangs because they lower my hairline.

Does this change your professional opinion any?

BTW, she is not a professional hair stylist, and it's my hair--not hers. smile

How long are your bangs?

In that photo, I think they're maybe 3/4 of an inch. They can't be more than one inch. In fact, if you look at the "notch" above my right eye, that probably gives you an idea of where my hairline is.

Thanks LaVisHh! I'll tell Kim that 100% of the .orgers polled disagree with her. Granted, you're the only person polled, but what's that old book called? How to Lie With Statistics? biggrin

Unless Josh (the hairstylist) gives me a compelling reason not to do it, I'm going to go with the cut you suggested. Since you recommended having it trimmed every three or four weeks, I'll set up a followup appointment while I'm at the salon, and if I still like the cut after a few weeks, we can consider some subtle highlights on the second visit.

Once again, thanks for your professional advice! smile
