Thanks LaVisHh! I'll tell Kim that 100% of the .orgers polled disagree with her. Granted, you're the only person polled, but what's that old book called? How to Lie With Statistics?
Unless Josh (the hairstylist) gives me a compelling reason not to do it, I'm going to go with the cut you suggested. Since you recommended having it trimmed every three or four weeks, I'll set up a followup appointment while I'm at the salon, and if I still like the cut after a few weeks, we can consider some subtle highlights on the second visit.
