Yellowed plastic headlights?

So, I was researching a remedy for the yellowing of the plastic that covers a car's headlights and found info on everything from sandpaper to chemical solvents and all manner of polishes and detailing services. Costs from $20- $40.

Then I tried something I read on a car care message board...toothpaste.

And it worked! They're all clear and shiny now. biggrin

So give the toothpaste a try before the more expensive methods. nod

lol

It was some old Pepsodent that I had lying around, (it cleans jewelry too)...I use the expensive non-flouride stuff on my teeth these days.
