  1. Longhorn Steakhouse (usually this is just for special events.)
  2. Quizno's
  3. Some random fish place here in Chicago that makes smashing catfish nuggets! (awful that I can't think of the name, but the lady who cooks behind the counter makes AMAZING spaghetti and greens.)
  4. Harold's Chicken (it's soooo bad for ya, but when they put hot sauce on the chickeeeeen...)
  5. Lem's BBQ. GAWD. This has been a fam staple since my dad had a jherri curl in his hair. lol We've cut back through the years, but usually get a family dinner whenver my aunt and her crew roll through. They make a vinegar-based sauce that is tangy on mean that falls right off the bone! razz
  6. (extra one!) There's this salad place that makes erotic, amazing Caesar Salads with grilled chicken and fresh lettuce and onions... eek Ohhh baby. They make their own dressing and it's just heaven with their house pickles and peppers.....mmmm! Can't even call out the name!

Do you speak Spain Spanish or Mexican Spanish. lol

It's kind of a slang Spain Spanish word that means someone who jacks off. British equivalent Wanker, Tosser.

It's funny because at first I read it as Pajaro, which means bird in Spanish. As a kid that's what my parents would call my weenie.

Hey! I'm from San Jo and if the same restaurant I'm thinking of, THE VEGETARIAN HOUSE is a couple of blocks from my house on Santa Clara St. and 12th.

I'm a Vegetarian in L.A. , and I'm very spoiled since there are tons of Vegetarian places to eat here. I haven't been to all of them, but here's the ones I like.

Veggie Grill

[img:$uid]http://www.quarrygirl.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/vg-570x498.jpg[/img:$uid]

This is a local Vegan Restaurant chain. I think there are now at least four locations. I recommend this place for omnivores who still like their burgers to tastle like meat

Tender Greens

[img:$uid]http://www.quarrygirl.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/tender-greens-happy-vegan-570x368.jpg[/img:$uid]

Another local chain. It's not Vegetarian/Vegan, but they have alot of meatless option specials, usually on Mondays. I usually get the Happy Vegan above.

Stuff I Eat

[img:$uid]http://www.quarrygirl.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/killamanjiro-570x377.jpg[/img:$uid]

I've only went here once, but the above dish, the Kilamanjaro Quesidilla blew me away, it was so good.

Forage

A local Vegetarian friendly place here in Silverlake. I usually get three sides and an agua fresca. Menu changes daily.

Pure Luck

A local hole in the wall type Vegetarian place that closed for good recently sad . They made the best BBQ sandwiches made from jackfruit.

Yeah, NO!!!!!!!!!! That one is on the corner of 11th and Santa Clara. It's probably good but ughhh.

This one is across from The Veg place. They have all kinds of awesome vegetable dishes.

Cosi is good, but not good enough to warrant the high prices IMO.

Haven't been to California Pizza Kitchen in over 13 years...but since so many people like it, I think I'll give it another shot.
