Oprah Convinced Maria Shriver to Leave Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger is furious that big-mouthed Oprah encouraged his wife Maria Shriver to abandon him over his infidelity and love child.

Even after the scandal over Arnold having sex and a child with housekeeperMildred Baena exploded, he maintained hope that Maria would stay with him. But now it comes out that it was Oprah who gave Maria the courage and conviction to dump the cheating bum!

“Arnold had totally believed he could convince Maria to stay with him, and that she wouldn’t have left without encouragement,” said a family friend.

“He thought the ‘leave the creep’ advice had come from Maria’s cousin/main family confidant, Robert Kennedy Jr”, but a mutual friend says Maria confided it was Oprah she first told the ugly secret to and it was Oprah who told her to run far and fast from ‘The Terminator.’

Now Arnold apparently is seeking revenge for what he sees as Oprah’s meddling in his family affairs. Whomever Arnold decides to blame for his grief and ostracization, we know he need only look down at his little friend.

Well, it doesn't speak well of Maria. Doesn't she have a mind of her own? From what I've read so far about the whole mess, she is portrayed as a somewhat weak and needy woman, not what I would have expected. She needed Oprah to tell her what to do?

Thought it was her kids that convinced her?

Sometimes you need friends to tell you to do the right thing....there's nothing weak about that.

I believe it because she made an appearance on Oprah right after the day it was announced, and Maria kept emphasizing about "trust" with Oprah.

I thought the opposite...that she would go back to him. All those Kennedy women reportedly put up with cheating so IMO it was just part of the lifestyle they all led. Oprah is a good friend to her. I bet her other friends didn't want to sway her in one direction or the other. Sometimes you just can't tell women about their husbands.

She, like every other woman (and man), needs to keep her fat ass out of a married couple's business. Let them do whatever it is they're going to do and don't interject.

The ONLY time this shouldn't be valid is when someone's assed is gettin' whooped and/or a child's life is in danger. Other than that, stay the fuck out of a married couple's problems.

I doubt very seriously if this "story" has any merit. I"m really, please. It's been my experience most women are slow to advise women friends (with the exception being physical / mental abuse) to leave a spouse. Ironically for all the cattiness that are suppose exist between women, I find men to be far more bitchy . Women aren't prone to getting on the phone telling her women friends they saw their husband / man with someone else but men do. So again, please....

That being said....

Under these circumstances Mrs. Shriver didn't need Ms. Winfrey or any of her women friends telling her she needed to step. Along with a man fucking his wife sister, her best friend, being on the downlow, and having a baby on the outside during the course of a marriage... is like the top fucking reasons to leave whether you've been married 24 hours are for 24 years.

Probably was a typo on their part.

I doubt that. Couldn't it just be that she left on her own? She probably talked to Oprah, but Maria is a grown woman. Perhaps she wanted to break the stereotypical line of political submission in the family and chose to walk away with her dignity. I KNOW she wasn't gonna stay with him after that. Ten years of secrecy is an awfully long time...

So if a friend came to me in confidence and trust about a personal situation like that...I, as a friend would give her the best advice I could. With that being said, it's ultimately up to my friend to do wat she wants. I didn't 'meddle' in their family affairs, my friend came to me about it...
