I Don't know what is wrong with me, i am always happy and giddy and have never been depressed before. But as of recent idk i just feel strange... first i know it sounds funny but i have not been horny AT ALL and for a 20 year old out here in L.A that is rare to not be horny constantly lol. But i have not been interested in anything sexual as of late not even masturbation it just bores me and i don't even think of it either, i don't play my piano as much or write.

I just feel down for some reason... i can't quite explain it i mean everything in live is good right now, great friends, graduating july 8th, vacation Jul.10th so what could possibly be there to get down about

It's just weird i wish i could explain it....

Anyone else had random times of sadness like this? what do you think caused it?

So you've never been horny or just lately? It's not uncommon for libido to drop when you're depressed.

Just Lately, but it's everything else...i just don't know what i am sad about as i was saying everything is going good in my life. It's just weird:P... and confusing

I have them sometimes. I think it's just part of being a human being. Don't go getting on anti-depressants or anything. I think it's better if you just allow yourself to be human. People nowadays run out and get on all these drugs, thinking it's abnormal to sometimes feel a little down. but it's just part of living this life. Life is hard . It will pass

Yep...but there are reasons for it for me......

1)just finished with the ex and told her we had to break off contact

2) Have no idea what i'm going to do career wise

3) Confessed my love to a friend who now is being distant...

4) It's raining

arggh so its not easy

Im up & down like a yoyo with my moods!!!eye often feel very down but thank god eye have an amazing S.O.H. Its save my life on many occasions!!!!

Even though life is good, it doesn't necessarily keep you from being depressed.

It sounds crazy, I know. Unfortunately, you may just have to roll with it for awhile.

There's nothing wrong with laying low. And when it's time, you'll just

start to feel better again. I know it's confusing. People tend to lose

interest in a lot of things when depressed.

I get those bouts now and then, and there's often no reason for me to feel that way either;

but what I'm saying I guess is give yourself permission to feel this way. It's human,

like someone already said, and may just help to make things easier for the emotions

you're feeling with this right now, as well.

I felt that way earlier this morning and this afternoon, severely so.

Once I got up and started moving around though it completely lifted my mood though.

I am up and down a lot of the time. on a downer at the moment... for many reasons. More often than not though there is no logical reason for depression. It may take a bit of time but hopefully you will just start to feel better slowly. In my experience its best to avoid taking antidepressants as they have many side effects. Take care

I definitely am not going to take pills those are useless to me , i felt better once i got up and out as armpit was talking about earlier. It's just weird how sadness can come and go...

u need a break, take a short trip and relax

and u also need something new in your life ... something to give u that buzz u r missing out on

I always feel inexplicaply down when it's a grey rainy day, and only realise that afterwards

and on sunny days I think the sky is the limit, when it's not

I'm sad basically all the time; there are only some moments when I'm happy. But usually I'm down and quite sad (most of the time with hardly any or only small reasons); it's like a chronic depression.

I know that feeling, even though there are reasons for me that I don't see as little. But from what I know about you your life isn't that easy either and I guess that might overshadow everything one way or another .

yep. today i felt old, tired, and pissed off.

i'm empathic so sometimes i pick up on other peoples feelings and think they are my own.

other times i get genuinely depressed all by myself. not sure which one today was but i'm feeling better now.

If traditional means don't lift your mood (relaxation, inebriation, masturbation, etc.) then check with a doctor.

Sometimes but my down moments are not so that I feel bad about my existence. Shit happens but then another day comes and suddenly my mood switches. But I can understand those who do feel down on days when they can't even get out of bed.

Why do you feel down? What a depressing thread

Every Sunday. Sunday has always been a depressing day. The streets have hardly any traffic. The TV is full of those damn infomercials all day long. Everything is too quiet. It's just an extremely lonely and depressing day. Plus, it's the end of the weekend and you know you have to go to work the next day.
