But I know from personal experiences of dating interracially and also having several interracial marriages in my family, that a black person, or even the white person in the relationship for that matter, can be guilty as sin, while racism exists all around them. For instance, in the 1980s, my sister was dating a black guy who got mad at her and slapped her around one night. She got in her car to leave his house and he followed her in his car so she just drove up to the police station and he continued to drive when he saw where she went. She then, called my mother, who wanted to press charges on him and police told her they didn't care because she shouldn't have been dating a black guy to begin with and what kind of mother was she to not only allow it, but approve of it. Now, that's definately in your face racism from the police right there but it still doesn't change the fact that her boyfriend did indeed shove and slap her around and it pissed us all off that nothing was done to him simply because those police were racist and wouldn't do anything.
That kind of thing drives me nuts! I wish there were something I could do to change the F'd up attitudes of those I share this planet with. But ultimately, I realize the only change I can facilitate is with the man I find in the mirror. "There's Nothing That The Proper Attitude Won't Render Funkable!"

Which, indeed, is the only kind of change that we can all affect--one by one. The coming together is the stuff that badly needs work. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

You know who I would really like to see her interview, O.J.' s children. The girl was very interesting looking. I just wonder what their lives are like and how they deal with their dad and if they "just don't think about it" when it comes to the murder of their mother by their dad. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin. |

I keep hearing O.J.'s eldest son (from his previous marriage prior to Nicole) may have something to do with Nicole's and Ron's deaths and that O.J. knew about it and took the rap for him but who knows? [Edited 6/22/11 1:55am] |

OJ had a boy and a girl with Nicole "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |

True, but maybe the boy a somewhat pretty as a child? Anyway, they have done a great job of vanishing from the public eye. I am very curious as to what they do now. Maybe they are not even in the states. Honestly, I would seriously think of being an ex-patriot if I was either of them.
