You know, shacking up while unmarried for 28 years is a lot time for any woman to realize that their live-in boyfriend is NEVER going to change for anyone. Even if Shannon was enduring this relationship with Gene for the sake of their kids, the average woman these days would have been like "screwed this", leave the relationship a lot sooner, and take their ex-boyfriends to court for child support payments and (maybe) half of his wealth under the common law marriage rules in specific states.

I've watched the show a few times because Nick is hot, and it's 100% fake...so I wouldn't be surprised if this was all bullshit as well.

This season will be them breaking up then getting back together at the end...no doubt.

Nick's sister Sophie is a real cutey. But I'm surprise that Nick doesn't have his own spin-off series yet. He still has plenty of potential.

I confess, I've seen a few of Shannon's erotica B-movies in the early 1990's during Cinemax's Friday Nights After Dark time block.

I remember this one particular film where Shannon seduced a young man, his father (who was responsible for setting up the murder of Shannon's husband years earlier), AND his mother as part of Shannon revenge plot. I tell you Efan, they don't make good decent B-movies like this anymore.

Well, they are on talk shows promoting their show, but...I don't think that means it is not true.

I think they are just past the point of being very passionate about love, sex, cheating, etc. Her attitude seems about right. It's not news to her, she is just sick of an idiot. He seems unbearable.

Gene will NEVER change his ways for any woman, even if some or most of his ways are wrong. Right there is the real problem.
