Love em all, but I tend to lean a little more towards Boyz N The Hood. It kinda paved the way for the other two.

All three are good but for some reason i'm more into juice and Menace II Society.

Boyz is the best movie. | |

Give me some JUICE!!! I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I love all three, but If I had to choose, I'd go with MIIS.
I really hope that the Juice remake is stopped. Don't want Soulja Boy anywhere near Bishop.

"Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" "Juice" is a close 2nd “The only male singer who I’ve seen besides myself and who’s better than me – that is Michael Jackson.” – Frank Sinatra

That one was great. | |

no love for South Central? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Oh goodness these three films are similar so I chose these three if everyone wants to make a what’s your favorite hood film post in here be my guess. I forget at times the org don’t stay on topic.
And actually I do have love for south central if you must know. [img:$uid]http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r67/babybugz10457/funny%20smilies/coffee.gif[/img:$uid]

John Singleton's masterpiece in a nutshell.
One of the most quotable movies alongside his Poetic Justice & Baby Boy.
What the hell happened to him?

Giving the edge to Juice then Boyz.

It's probably a tie between Boyz N the Hood and Juice.
I don't think I've even seen Menace II Society. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

easy
Don't Be a Menace to Society While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
only the Wayans family could get away with making fun of these films and black ghetto life in a movie
it's funny and kinda sad at the same time [Edited 6/12/11 7:35am] Prince - not black, not white........just COOL

Like everyone said, how about all three in one.
Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood. PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever ----- Live Your Life How U Wanna Live It

^^^
I couldn't for the life of me find whats so funny about that cornball family. Its like scratching my finger nails against a rugged steel. Kim is about the ONLY Wayans I could tolerate, Marlon gets on my nerves so fuckin' much I even promised myself at one point that I will punch him in the throat if I ever came across his ass in real life.
That being said, the only saving grace I could say about him is his performance in Requiem of A Dream. Thats it. [Edited 6/12/11 8:24am]

I love how when some people see these threads, they gotta add in "every other black film with a 'street' theme".
That said?
JUICE
