She straight up went to the WWE for the money. I don't blame her, either 'cause TNA doesn't pay their knockouts shit. Hell, as Knockouts Champion, Taylor Wilde was working at Sunglass Hut.

They don't pay their midcard guys much of anything either, since Jesse Neal is apparently on Food Stamps.

It's disgusting that TNA apparently can't afford to pay their talent well enough to keep the off government assistence, or pay their female wrestlers anything at all, but they always seem to find the cash to pay guys like Hogan, and Bischoff their salaries.

They also found the cash to pay fucking J-Woww and Jenna Morasca more money per appearance than a lot of what the knockouts were making for the whole year!

I was saying the same thing

Their talent isn't getting the money it deserves but it has money to give to Hogan and Bischoff?!

TNA has the potential, but it's bogged down with so much bullshit:

Hogan and Bischoff

Abyss (he's is NOT wanted or needed)

Jeff Jerrett

the lack of presence with the X Division

the terrible writing

the overabundance of promos

now I'm thinking of ways they can revamp the brand

-Bring back the 6 sided ring

-Pump up the X Division

-Have Sting and Angle be the "elder statesmen" of the brand, like how Undertaker and Triple H are now in WWE

-cut down those terrible "wrestling matter" videos lol

-Cut down the promos 70% so there can be more matches

-There's no need for the Hardys anymore, so they should go

-Replace Vince Russo with Paul Heyman

-Give the Knockouts not named Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, and Tessmacher more shine

Have 6 titles:

TNA World Heavyweight Title

World Television title

X Division title

Tag team titles

Knockouts tag team title

Knockout title

okay I'm done now lol

Paris: okay I had NO idea that things were THAT bad when it came to salaries in TNA. A performer having to be on food stamps while under contract is just not acceptable!! And like what was said, if you can give Hogan and Bischoff so much money, then they can respect the other lower workers and at LEAST give them enough to make an honest living!

How much are Bisch and Hogan getting paid anyway, and are they both on 3-year contracts?

Bboy, do you really think the Knockouts division could support a tag title too? I mean, how many women tag teams do they have too warrant that? Now, an "intercontinental"-type Knockouts title I could possibly see, but that again depends on exactly how many they have on the roster. Otherwise, I completely agree with all of the points you posted. Such a shame that most of them will NEVER happen.

I just would so love for TNA to be a viable threat and alternative to the WWE. McMahon knows that the only reason almost any wrestler would ever go to TNA over the WWE is because the WWE either fired or passed on them first. Most would rather go to WWE for the "security" and prestige, and as long as that feeling prevails among the workers, the WWE will never see TNA as competition (and probably rightfully so).

Yeah, the Jesse Neal thing is really sad. I'm not a fan of the guy as a wrestler, but he was a veteran. He was on the U.S.S. Cole when it was attacked by Bin Laden, killing his best friend. It's a shame when any veteran has to go on food stamps, especially one who has a fucking job. Although, with TNA guys on his level don't get guaranteed contracts. They get paid per appearance. Since he's not on TV much, if at all, things like that happens. That's why a lot of the Mid-Card guys take Indy Dates.

As for bboy's proposal for TNA/Impact, I like most of it.

-I would get rid of the Knockouts Tag Titles. They don't have the talent to support them.

-I would definitely give Paul Heyman a call and let him know how serious I was. If Paul rejects me, I'd bring in Gabe Saplosky who was the Main Booker for ROH for 'til about '08, now he books for Dragon Gate USa, and his own promotion called Evolve. He was pretty much Paul Heyman's apprentice in ECW.

I think the most important thing that TNA needs more than anything is a creative overall. Otherwise known as, "Toss Russo out on his ass"!

Sting Discusses WWE, the Match with Jeff Hardy, Doing Movies & More
By Marc Middleton
Jun 23, 2011 - 10:22:51 AM

- Sting recently spoke with The Baltimore Sun. Here are some highlights:

Do you have any more film projects in the works?

It’s so tough [because of the wrestling schedule]. I’ve had to pass on a couple other projects with some really good people, but I’m looking forward to doing some more. But, yes, I know that I will have time coming up here and I’d like to do a whole bunch more.

There is a lot of adult content on Impact Wrestling. As a man of faith, is it a concern for you to be on that type of show?

Absolutely. There’s no question about it. This is something that many Christians will use as their ace in the hole, and I’ll use it, but I’m not going to use it in a real loose way, and that is that Jesus Christ himself went in amongst the sinners – the murderers, the adulterers, the idolaters, the drunkards, and so on and so forth. And he didn’t come to judge them, he came to save them, be a doctor to them. I’m not putting myself on that level obviously, but at the same time, we are in the world, we are not of the world, if we are believers. I’m not going to put myself in a shell – it’s just not going to work that way. You have to get out there somehow or another and try to be a light or be the salt of the earth, and that’s all I’ve tried to do. As far as the content goes, I will only involve myself in situations that will not jeopardize my walk or my witness. You won’t hear vulgar things coming out of my mouth or sexual innuendos and all that kind of stuff.

In your current story line with Hulk Hogan, it almost seems as if there are some religious overtones as far as you trying to save the Hulk Hogan character and get him back on the right path. Is that the case or am I reading too much into it?

You know, there’s probably a thread of that in there for sure. Most of my story lines do have some sort of a redemptive quality to them. Vince Russo is writing a lot of this stuff, and many people may not know this, but he also is a believer. He writes with that kind of flair. The other thing, too, is I really believe that because of the nostalgia of Hulk Hogan – you know, he made an appearance on “American Idol” and got a huge, gigantic reaction – wrestling fans all over the place would love to see the story line for real. I think they want to see him come back and just be Hulk. I’d like to see it.

What was your reaction when WWE began airing the mysterious vignettes early this year that turned out to be for The Undertaker’s return, but initially had a lot of wrestling fans believing that the videos signaled that you were coming to WWE for to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania? And the second part of my question is: Did WWE contact you to come in and do something at that point?

I’ll answer the second part first. Yes, I was contacted by WWE people. The vignettes I can honestly tell you that I do not understand that one even now, unless it was some kind of deal where they were just trying to test the waters, I really don’t know, because so many people were saying, “I hope it’s Sting, I hope it’s Sting.” I thought, “Gosh, I wonder if they’re going to shoot themselves in the foot there by making this choice, because if things do not work out, why did they do it to begin with?” I had all kinds of things going through my head. But, yeah, I was very, very close to going up there, and I believe there probably would have been something with Undertaker. That was the word at least.

What are your thoughts on what went down the night you faced Jeff Hardy at the Victory Road pay-per-view?

I want to be careful with my words here because I really like Jeff Hardy. I’m hoping he can come back because that guy is so talented, but he has personal issues in his life and it just became too much for him, too overwhelming, and he just couldn’t cope and didn’t know how to handle it. So he made some bad choices and he’s having to deal with those choices and the consequences now. I hear he’s doing much, much better. Last I heard, he was riding his bike 10 miles a day and just getting in great shape and his life was getting in some kind of order.

You’ve said in the past that you intended to retire several times, but every year when your contract comes up in TNA, you get talked into staying for another year. At this point, how much longer do you plan to continue wrestling?

You know, you’re right. I think I’ve said every year for at least the last four years that this will be my last year. And I’m speaking the same way again now. I think I’ve smartened up a little bit. When I know it’s done, I’ll know it’s done. I’m going to go as long as I can, but, honestly, whether I want to or not, I cannot see going too much farther.

Jesse Neal Denies Receiving Food Stamps, Impact Wrestling Replay Tonight, More
By Daniel Pena
Jun 21, 2011 - 10:57:43 AM

-- Jesse Neal is now claiming on Twitter that he never said he received food stamps.

"I'm only gonna say this once," he wrote on Sunday. "I never said that I myself recieves food stamps, so wrestling fans get back to being a fan and stay out of our personal lives. If you are gonna follow then read it carefully and get it right. I have never received food stamps. Ok that's it."

He added yesterday, "Just to clarify there will be NO food stamps coming to me! Thanks for all ur guys concern, everything is great with TNA and I will be back soon."

Neal sent a Twitter message last week to his live-in girlfriend, independent wrestler Christina Von Eerie, expressing how glad he was that they now qualify for food stamps. The message has since been deleted.

Sting should've signed with the WWE earlier this year. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If anything, just for something new for his career. He's never stepped foot in a WWE ring, and I'm sure once he's even older than he is now, he's going to wonder what it would've been like.

I know he said part of the reason he didn't sign was because Vince seems to treat non-homegrown talent as lesser-than the loyal, longtime WWEers (ex: Goldberg, RVD, and a plethora of other wrestlers involved in the Invasion angle who were ex-WCW/ECW employees). That's such a shame because he's done so much in his career that I'm sure Vince - as douchey as he can be - would put him in some worthy programs. He could've just signed for one year like Goldberg did in the early 2000s, and test the waters to see if he liked it.

He complained about the WWE's content back in the Attitude Era and that was why he didn't sign with them when WCW went under, but now WWE is the comparatively speaking "clean" company, and he STILL has an excuse as to why he won't sign. His ego is probably afraid of failing in the WWE. That's what I think. Because his decisions just don't make any sense.

At first, I didn't really like the 6-sided ring, but they've got to do something to really separate themselves from the WWE. Something to ensure they're really offering something different. So, I definitely don't see this move as a bad thing.

Dude, where ya been? I've been waiting for you to respond since my post! Lol!! I gotta share in this moment! lol

I'm still buzzin' like a mofo, right now. He called Triple H Vince's new dorky son-in-law, the company's filled with ass kissers, he only got his start because Paul Heyman saw something in him, etc... I have GOT to look at that again or get a transcript because it was just THAT epic!

WWEMagazine's Twitter account said he's in a meeting right now with the top brass about his comments. Still thinking it's a worked shoot, but this is VERY well played. I shit on WWE for doing all of the wrong things, but if this truly is "planned", mad kudos to them!

lol i was waiting on YOU!! lol OMG that shit was awesome!! i just looked on wrestlezone and they said there is a double taping and that announcement by cole they aren't sure it was said for the next taping or just 4 the audience.

Okay, I definitely know it was a worked shoot. They showed the Raw logo with all the copyright shit at 11:00. They ALWAYS show it at the very end just as the show fades to black.

But they didn't this time because they knew they were going to "abruptly" kill the feed. Like I said, either way this is one helluva angle that ONLY CM Punk could pull off. It was funny though when he was trying to draw more heat by putting down his own fans by saying they were a part of why he was leaving too.

FUCK! I missed it! mad I was at the gym and when I got home, it was already off, but the west coast feed is coming on in 20 minutes

My mom was like "YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN CM PUNK GO OFF!" lol

i'm sure the west coast feed will be edited

but here is something else that we all have been discussing for weeks and what i find mad funny. how many times are we told the loser of a championship match excersised their rematch clause and gets another shot at the title. where is R truth's rematch clause? no he's already booked for the money in the back match

terrible

They don't wanna give brother man a second shot. Instead, they had that 6-man tag match last week. I completely never thought about that, L4OA.

Truth should bitch some more now because he can say he beat Cena straight up, interference or not. Punk beat Cena 2 weeks ago thanks to Truth's interference, so turnabout is fair play.

Yeah, Booker T was definitely on tonight! It's always comedy gold when he's on the mic, either for hosting or commentary. lol

It was cool to see that fool Diamond Dallas Page again.

I remember he used to always look drunk wrestling during

the WCW heyday. lol

Yes CM Punk was pretty damn funny.

That Sweet Chin Music to Drew McIntyre out of nowhere

was funny too after he threatened Booker T and DDP.

I like how they put "one can only assume". rolleyes

From WWE.com

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon suspends CM Punk

Raw’s abrupt conclusion Monday night was not due to technical difficulties. The decision to suddenly end the broadcast in that manner was made by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, who gave this quote to WWE.com:

“CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air.”

With his WWE contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that this suspension effectively terminates CM Punk’s tenure with WWE.

Okay, I just checked, and they took CM Punk off of the WWE roster on WWE.com. Interesting. They're really goin' all out for this work.

i wonder what duane has 2 say about that rant falloff

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
