They NEVER get my money for PPVs. I always stream it online. You should too.
Not even the main ones? I usually decide now to skip the little ones and see the main ones. Then again, they're just as boring.
yeah i stopped getting the ppv's a long time ago and just wait 2 look upon the wrestling forums 4 the results but i had to for this years wrestlemania but came away only loving the triple h vs undertaker match ..INSANE!!
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
i fear big zeke will get the same treatment bobby lashley got
Lashley's screwup was his fault imo. He left because his fiance (now wife) got fired, so he quit in protest
really? i remember lashley was injured and then they released him. who was/is his wife from the WWE?

I think his girlfriend (not really married though), Kristal, was let go because she refused to participate in some racial angle that she deemed too inappropriate.

Wouldn't surprise me if that really was the case.
Seeing as how Michael Hayes is the head of "Creative" of the Smakdown brand, I'm almost positive it's the case. From a lot of accounts, he's a racist bastard who called Mark Henry, at one point, a nigga. And supposedly, he thought it was cool to say because he felt like he cool enough with blacks to be able to say it.

I don't know why anyone would even say it. And then think it'll be cool. Hayes is an idiot but he proved that years ago.

Not really if they had his wife doing something he and her felt was inappropriate than that’s his choice. I remember Jerry the king lawler saying something wwf (at the time) was doing something to his wife the cat or the kat I believe was her name and he left but wasn’t for long was it. I haven’t watched a PPV since wrestlemania this year I just don’t have the need to have to rush to see the PPV now.

That incident with Hayes and Henry was really interesting because Hayes always seemed to be cool. He was part of the Legends Roundtable on Junkyard Dog and he talked about unfairly black wrestlers were treated back in the 70s and 80s.
WWE has done some stupid racial crap over the years, remember when Vince went around saying the n word?
"We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Thoses the main ones you have to "look out for" the ones down but making slick remarks behind your back. And people still watch. And black wrestlers still go there for employment. I wouldn’t work there but I guess it’s not bothering people.

Oh please, have you ever seen some (by today's standards) controversial and ever questionable promos from Mid-South Wresting during the late 70's/early 80's? I remember the time when "Big Cat" Erine Ladd (who was black) would tell a mostly white audience how to "kick a n***a when they're down" as a referrence to his feud with JYD at the time. And there was also this classic promo when Ric Flair called "Hacksaw" Butch Reed a "big monkey with no brains". And don't even get me started with "Exotic" Adrian Street being called the sexual stur "f****t" by the audience when he drew serious heat as a (fictional) gay character in the South.
Give all thanks AND blame to Cowboy Bill Watts for having his wrestling promotion to maintain such a political & social incorrect atomsphere.

Disgusting shit. But I'm not surprised whatsoever.

Now don't misunderstand me. I was always a fan of MSW as well as the UWF. But it's my responsibility to be very honest to all of the younger wrestling fans and let them know how different wrestling's old-school era (especially when fans in the South were anti-WWF) was in comparsion to how things turned out for WCW, The Original ECW, TNA, ROH, & WWE later on.

I know, you don't have to tell me nothing twice. I knew that was probably the deal...

I haven't seen much footage from the mid-south wrestling period
Tony I'm sure you've seen the shit WWE did with Akeem (also known as One Man Gang) and Slick. They showed Akeem's debut promo on WWE Classics On Demand and WOW, I'm surprised that groups like the NAACP weren't after them for stuff like that
"We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
This Capitol Punishment PPV is utter, complete SHIT!!!! From the fake Obama to the sloppy matches. Yet again, my boy Christian lost the title match with Orton for the third straight time (or is the fourth?).
The Cena/Truth match is about to start, and the faces have won the past 2 or 3 matches, on top of the face winning the Intercontinental Championship. It'd be SO nice if Truth won this match and became champion. I hope CM Punk interferes and causes Cena to lose. Oh well...I'm sure Super Cena will have this taken care of in about 15 minutes or less.
Just as I thought. Another bullshit ending, with Super Cena still the champ. Some dumb little kid threw water in Truth's face after he took a sip of it and stole his hat, so Cena is able to walk up behind, throws him in the ring, and hits him with the AA??! This was, of course, after Truth beat up on him for the entire match and right after Cena was supposedly "hurting" and helpless outside the ring on the other side.
And Vince seriously wonders why his revenue and ratings are quickly going down the toilet? Look no further than tonight, where it seems he can't get enough of insulting the intelligence of the audience.

To be fair, that's the way he's been booking since Hulk Hogan. That's the way he's booked every top face since Hogan.
The difference if people got sick of Hogan, or Warrior, or Shawn Michaels, or Stone Cold winning all the time they could watch another wrestling promotion.
People still have that same option today, but it's a little bit more difficult.

Akeem is one of my all-time favorite comical heels. That fake blackest white man from Africa gimmick was pure jive! As a black man, I give him a pass.
Now if you want to talk about questionable racial stunts the WWE had pull over the year, just think about the feud between Rowdy Roddy Piper & Bad News Brown, when Piper had half of his face painted in blackface during a promo shoot.
And of course, we all remember the Nation Of Domination (started in the USWA before the WWE) with the black nationalist gimmick.

I thought DOA were heels, for at least PART of their time in WWF anyway. Either way, it's still a shame. I get what you're sayin'. But, the NOD were hella boring (save for The Rock and D'Lo Brown) to me.

Why do you think Vince let Rocky have his shine since he doesn’t like to promote Black wrestlers? And don’t say he’s mixed homeboy is black at the end of the day I guess vince had no choice .
