I Used to watch this show when i was younger , i recently got reruns of it lol man what a cheesy/weird/awesome show.

Now a lot of soap operas have had there weird moments, but passions had a talking doll, a closet that was the gateway to hell, a monkey who was a nurse, zombies, man eating frogs. But everyones scandals where more important to the characters then the fact there where demons chasing them

Yes i did. One of my homies got me into that shit

by accident. I took one look at Brook Kerr(Whitney Russell)

and Lindsay Hartley(Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald) and i was hooked.

They had a lot of crazy ass story lines but it was funny as hell

and awkward at times.

in the city.? Alister and Julian were a trip. The dude that played Eve Russell's husband

used to kill me with his acting. He was funny as hell. I wanted to bone Whitney Russell

and the first Simone Russell played by Christy Pharris.

...Yeah, Theresa did always do a lot of dumb shit, but there was something about her that I kinda related to and I was always rooting for her, even though I was rolling my eyes at her antics.

Luis just annoyed the crap out of me. Their brother was hot though, but I can't even remember his name. Charity was a BORE, but I tolerated her better than Kay, who struck me as being vaguely...psychotic.

Oh and it was so annoying how they would repeat lines in all soap opera's dramatic glory...it's like damn get to the action already.

Like if there was a party or something where something major was about to go down it would be like a week and a half of them showing that scene and repeating the lines over and over..that bugged me.....

(but I'm inclined to not include OLTL anymore b/c they replaced Blair Daimler, originally a biracial Asian & white girl [played by Mia Korf, who is Japanese & white, for the first 2 years] with Kassie Wesley/DePaiva [just white] and totally obliterated the having an Asian father part of Blair's story )

And together with Father Lonigan they made Tabitha confess all the evil she had done over the years in order for her to be baptized. His ears burned off as she did .. ....She had to be cleansed of all her evil because only then could the people of Harmony truly live in "harmony"

The bad forces didn't like what was going down so they sent volcanoes and earthquakes and shit to disrupt the event.....but

Julian promised to use the Crane Industries for good.

- but that's ok b/c [big] Ethan turned out to not be Julian's son (that's why he changed his name from Crane to Winthrop; Ivy's maiden name)

I only know it from the Friends episode where Joey stole the actresses award because he didn't win one and that was one of the shows mentioned.

This show was like crack for me for the first couple years it was on. During the summers when I was in highshool, I would disappear from the office where I interned everyday to watch it in the cafe across the street.

Stopped watching when it got too over-the-top though, but I acutually wouldn't mind tracking down old episodes now, for the hell of it.
