Even that combination enfuriates me when women use it.

At least you ask for permission first. I wish more people would.

nod

I do because I find it's such a reasonable request that nobody considers denying me

if they said NO to me, I would simply hang up with good reason, because it would be very poor customer service lol

Just sayin'...

no is a perfectly fine word, depending on context.

for example:

just say no to super volcanoes!

or,

thanks, but no mass coronal ejections for me today.

davetherave posting on a jowicoco thread. my what entertainment.

it depends on how the word no is used...in what context....

as in..."would you make love to me, even though I just met you in this dark alley"..."no"....well...I feel it's a nice word at that time, don't you?

as in "do you like my fascinator"...."no"...is an honest word..innit...

but, in the context of "I don't quite understand this lesson on quantum physics, would you help me?"..."no"....without an explaination, that can be intrepreted as not nice.

"No" is a very useful, power-full word

I lean towards liking it more so than "Yes"

~ when used properly

peace!

It just pisses me off when I'm suggesting things we could do and people keep saying no to every suggestion. mad
