What do you think about the state of FIFA? Wondering what people think of the state of FIFA?
Do you know whether your country voted Blatter back in? Do you agree with it? What do you think should be done, if anything? .

maFIFA, IOC and all organizations affiliated with them are corrupt. Getting rid of Blatter won't change much in the way they operate.

So what do Spain think, bearing in mind you also wasted millions bidding and being told you had a good chance, only to find that you never had a chance? .

But keeping him in won't change much either. .

Do you know whether your country voted Blatter back in? Do you agree with it? What do you think should be done, if anything? Being English I'm 100% certain they didn't vote him in The whole place appears to be diseased - where to start.. A 'president' elected after his only rival pulls out/suspended amid corruption allegations, Vice President makes allegations of corruption himself Blatter cleared of any wrong doing in a matter of minutes whilst everybody else is investigated But still tbere is Total denial that there's a problem at all Dismissing reports that contain alleged evidence that the world cup voting was rigged... - the main backer of Quatar is suspended on allegations of corruption, the temperature at that time of year would make it unplayable and apparently the whole country doesn't have a single football stadium...why wouldn't Quatar get it ? Wikipedia Blatter - I think the controversy speaks for itself. At best FIFA is turning the other cheek!!! It's a joke - England, Australia etc allege corruption - "there is no corruption" England provide dossier of evidence - it's dismissed "there is no corruption" Ol' chuck blazer blows the whistle - "there's no corruption" Warner and Bin Haman are suspended for corruption allegations despite the fact "there's no corruption" Warner himself produces emails alleging corruption from within but still "there's no corruption" Bahamas produce photographic evidence of money they were given to vote a certain way...."no corruption" Blatter describes it as a little bit of difficulty surrounding the image that the FIFA family will deal with internally [Edited 6/2/11 6:24am]

What do you think " He was re-elected as head of FIFA in 2002 and was re-elected unopposed for another four years on 31 May 2007 even though only 66 of 207 FIFA members nominated him" "2002 candidacy has been marked with rumours of financial irregularities and backroom dealings, culminating with direct accusations of bribery by Farra Ado, vice-president of the Confederation of African Football and president of the Somali Football Federation, who claimed to have been offered $100,000 to vote for Blatter in 1998" "A dossier alleged that the collapse of FIFA's marketing partner ISL had led to losses of up to $100m under Blatter's management. The allegations were backed by Johansson,[18] and the dossier was handed to the Swiss authorities, but they cleared Blatter of any wrong doing and FIFA had to pay all the costs." " An internal investigation within FIFA was halted by Blatter because members of it broke confidentiality agreements.[20] This questionable behaviour led him to remove Zen- (The man who made the allegations) from office immediately before the FIFA World Cup" "during the 2006 FIFA World Cup final in Germany, Blatter's absence during the prize-podium event was noted and criticized in international media. It was claimed that the reason Blatter did not attend was because he was upset that Italy won instead of France" "The FIFA ethics committee that investigated bribery claims against Bin Hammam and Jack Warner announced that Blatter will not face an investigation into claims that he knew of the bribery and did nothing about it" [Edited 6/2/11 7:31am] [Edited 6/2/11 7:34am]

I didnt know that - it's like Billy Davies (yes I'm a fan of the worst team in Premiership history - Derby)... all the Preston fans warned us he was a dick but we thought they were just jealous he'd left....but whilst he was at Derby he clearly had a hard-on for Preston still and when he left (not before he'd bent us over and seen to us roughly starting immediately after the playoff whistle) he allegedly stated that when Derby won the playoffs he was daydreaming it was Preston he was taking up. I could spend all day listing the ways he took us through the ringer but I'm happy he's doing it to Forest now. Watch out though, he WILL apply for AVFC

I need to thank you for making me laugh. Been going through a strange phase currently. The chuckle/laugh was cool. Poor woman...I miss as many as possibel under non-league nigel clough
With Billy It all fell apart immediately after the final whistle of the playoff final - Man City were looking for a manager and, by some stroke of coincidence, Davies decided that on teh pitch of Wembley wa steh place to decide he would say he didnt know if he was staying at Derby...whcih meant we doidnt know if wed need a new manager or not. Then when he did eventually stay i seem to recall he buggered off on holiday without signing anybody and came back some weeks later moaning about being unprepared. He then set about signing players from the lower leagues including pensioner Eddie Lewis from League 1 and 1 goal wonder Earnshaw who, through various alleged problems, rarely got a game. I think even he has admitted taht he suggested Derby spend £76 million!!!!! on players and, when results when badly, he came out and badmouthed the chairman and seemed to engineer his departure....at least thats how it seems from the outside.
Now at Forest hes moaning about not signing players, not spending enough money and badmouthing the chairman...its fantastic

FIFA smells corrupt...
Oftentimes I am convinced that referees are also corrupt. I can't imagine they are not, knowing the (gambling) money that is at stake for high profile games.
It wouldn't surprise me if players themselves would be corrupt.
Just hope that there will be serious research done. For the sake of sport. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Absolutely! It's very strange that objective technology isn't standard tool for the referee.
Too much money involved in these games to be played out honest, I guess. It wouldn't surprise me if in the future there will be more shocking corrupt scandals then just those few on the Germans referee and players thusfar.
I really hope this sport can become free of corruption and the world championship can be an honest contest again.

Hard to see when its run like a dictatorship and that dictator is happy to keep those around him sweet so that he doesnt lose his crown. Corruption allogations have follwed Blatter throughout his years in FIFA \9as my previous comments listed)..but shock, horror the reviews at the organisations he is president of has either found him not guilty in the blink of an eye or have dismissed dossiers of evidence.
My suspicions were first aroused when Qatar started clapping and cheering before the winner was anounced
