so do u hide your negative emotions or

r u the type to give 'hints' as to how u r feeling???

i try very hard to not let ppl around me see mine, esp when i am hurt or unhappy, and angry about something

and when i see ppl having public tantrums... omfg i think omg how could they do that!!!!! omg

Oh no. I let people know when I'm PISSED.

It's when I'm truly upset or my feeling are hurt, you'll NEVER know.

I'm usually quiet, but folks can tell I'm pissed by the look on my face. Most of the time, that keeps them from pushing me further. If not, eventually I'll explode on them, and let loose some ugly language. Lots of f-bombs(or c-bombs if it's a woman).

I have moods that go up and down, and have a habit of not speaking up, but then being told later I look upset and am very bad at hiding it.

Depends on the situation. Normally I tell it like I feel it. Rarely is it emotionally charged when expressing my viewpoint. But I can be emotionally charged like anyone.

I try not to be overly emotional in most situations. I just don't like to put my stuff out there. I'd rather deal with it myself. And if my emotions are due to another person, I try to give myself time to get over the emotional response, so then I can talk rationally about whatever it was...prevents unneccessarily charged arguments.

I am usually a cool individual that can keep calm in any situation regarding me... even nice. But if you hurt my kids in any way.... you're dead. Don't fuck with my kids.

Didn't hear of that situation... but kids should always be put first, ALWAYS. Fuck order takeout... and play a board game with the kid, its a great night also, no guilt or consequences after.

If a person isn't ready to spend time with a kid why do they have them? I will never understand that at all.

Eh, I hardly ever watch Oprah... lol maybe like twice... so I don't remember this story... or maybe I am getting old.

Hell... the stories that stick to my head is one of the teenager that lived with two girls that were sent to this country to get away from violence and have a better life... and the older girl (14)was decapitated and the middle girl (11) was stabbed to death... and his little biological sister was stabbed but managed to call police in time before she was killed. Thankfully the police open fired on him and killed him on site once they entered the home and stopped him from cutting up the 9 year old any further.

Grandma the entire time was in the basement of the home while the murderous rampage went on... she claims she didn't hear shit. doody

Bitch knew her grandson was a killer and waited the screams out until the police showed up.

Before the killings... the same dude was kicked out of the neighbors home for starting a fight.

He was known for his aggresive behavior and considered a troublemaker. Yet the parents protected him and allowed those poor girls to be exposed to him... even though they were charged with raising those girls and keeping them safe.

After the killings the parents of the two murdered girls had to deal with their daughters getting buried with the killer of their brave little girls because they had no money to bury their girls.

The two police who were first to arrive at the scene quit their jobs because the scene was so horrific they were never right after that. The trauma was too much to bear.

Now this happened where I live, stories like this make me forget about other stories... sigh

I have a temper problem. Usually when I feel betrayed or if someone has disregarded my feelings in some situation or another, I have a delayed reaction. I usually sit there and ask myself "hold up, should I be mad at this? You know I think I'm getting mad." lol And after that I usually plot sneakingly how to get back at them without them realizing it.

But if someone talks down to me or disrespects me I usually go off right then and there and try to say the most hurtful things I can think of because at the moment I don't give a fuck about how the other feels. Its later on when I've calmed down that I do feel regretful. But I'm not above admitting when I'm wrong and apologizing either.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

If i'm upset or worried or cross I try to keep a lid on my emotions and deal with it myself - which isn't really healthy sometimes not helpful to people around me, but I suppose I don't like to impose my negative emotions on anyone else if I can help it. I try to be positive as much as possible around other pepole.

If i'm going through a particularly tough time though, it can make me quite snappy to those close to me and I prefer to spend time on my own.

I only once let my emotions loose in public (that I remember). I had a pregnancy scare. I didn't want to be pregnant and I didn't tell a soul. I drove to the supermarket to buy a pregnancy test and my whole body was shaking. I couldn't breathe properly and had to pull-over a couple of times to compose myself. I finally got to the shop, brought the test kit - in a total daze - and made my way to the checkout. While I stood waiting to be served (it seemed to take forever) I started worrying even more at the prospect of being pregnant and wondering what I would do and I suddenly realised I was crying. I did manage to keep semi-composed, but part of me did feel a complete moron for crying in a public place.

Once I had paid, I rushed to the ladies toilets in the store and did the test there and then. I have no idea how I managed it as I was shaking so badly - and how I didn't faint I have no idea! Anyway I did the test and it was negative. woot!

If someone's upset me, I'll usually do the silent treatment thing.

If I'm angry or panicky, I have to wait about an hour for those feeling to calm down. Then I can think with a rational(ish) mind. wink

I don't want to be someone who goes onto Facebook and vents there. I've seen a few people who love to wallow in misery and post things that scream "Shower me in sympathy" for days on end. If they put some humour into those posts then I'm ok with it, but if I'm feeling down for whatever reason, I don't want to burden EVERYONE with reading about it. If I need to talk to someone, I'll contact a friend directly. I'm not going to post "I'm sad, woe is me" and then sit back wait for others to come running to my side.

I've seen that hot mess too along with people who knowingly and purposely put status messages up directed at certain people they are upset with. I think that is so tacky. Why put it up for the whole world to see? It's like arguing with someone on speaker phone in the middle of a grocery store or shopping mall. If you have a personal problem with someone you know then you need to handle it privately with that person, don't blast it on a social networking site. rolleyes

When I'm upset or whatever, I just stay away from people. I usually stay away from people anyway but I tend to smile a lot so when I smile no more, people know better than to talk to me or it's going down lol

I remember I used to cry a lot and it didn't really matter where I was; sometimes I would even cry at school redface Now if I'm at school and I feel like crying, I just try to get over myself or wait until I get home and cry but now that I think about it, I rarely cry now hmmm

Before when I got upset with my wife I'd shout at her so angrily, saying the worst, most hurtful things, but thankfully I've managed to curb that behaviour almost completely. Now when I'm upset I take a walk, count to ten, come back and physically beat her. rose
