Val is early 30s and Keisha is mid 30s. When the script was being developed, mid 30s was the age range that Stacey Littlejohn, the show's creator, had envisioned. VH1 wanted mid to late 20s. Not sure what age group producer Latifah was going for but somehow it seems all decades are represented. April claims 25. Val has to be early 30s seeing as how her man from the first ep apparently got a new contract with the ducks (athlete careers are like model careers - short) and Keisha has to be late 30s because there's frequent mention of her ex-video vixen days and almost all of the men she's hooked up with have been older.
