Bridesmaids review?

[img:$uid]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_z25QU9ET_Rg/TUihlvfpDRI/AAAAAAAAABQ/xTbRaOHlP6E/s400/Bridesmaids%2BMovie.jpg[/img:$uid]

What a hilarious movie!!!!

The Hangover sucked so bad I kind of was leery about seeing this, but knowing Krisen Wiig and Mya Rudolph were together it had to be good.

Anyone see it yet? 'Orggoogled' it and no one made a topic on the film.

I loved it. I saw it a few weeks ago and I still think about it and laugh. Kristin and Maya were genius; so was Melissa McCarthy.

P.S. I loved The Hangover. One of my all-time favorite comedies.

Yeah they were awesome. Kristin took shine on this role, but she wasnt overbearing and let the others shine just as much.

Hangover:

It just seemed unrealistic, and treaded on grounds that most douche comedies went before. Unrelalistic and relied too much on gags.

All right, I won't debate you on that in your Bridesmaids thread. Because really, what we can all agree on is how brilliant and funny those ladies are. I kinda wish the other two actresses had been giving a little bit more to do, but Kristin, Maya, Melissa, and even Rose Byrne are incredible in it.

And also: It's a bittersweet pleasure to see Jill Clayburgh on screen. It's sad that she looks quite ill in the movie, though...she was always so beautiful.

Loved this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I laughed out loud and it's been a while since I've done that throughout a whole movie. Did you all still around for the credits. That was dirty!!!! hahahhaah!!! I didn't know that the Melissa McCarthy is married to the guy she was trying to get at on the plane.

I think this movie looks positively hideous based on the ads I've seen, but all kinds of people are finding it funny.

Is it better than the clips in the ads? Or is it just more of that?

Most of the clips are outtakes. I thought it was hilarious. Then again, if you're not into potty humor, you might not like it. I found it clever. I've been a huge fan of Maya's and Kristen's for a while now. They brought it. What I loved is that I'm almost positive a lot of it was improvised.

Plus, Chris O'Dowd from one of my favorite British shows, THE IT CROWD, is in it. Looking as cute as ever.

Hey U can express whatever you like about Hangover nod

Yeah it would have been nice to see the other two do a bit more, we didnt get to know too much about them. Jill did look a little frazzled but I thought that they wanted her to look a bit older on purpose...maybe it was the make up?

Why hideous? Harsh word.

Ah, gotcha.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of potty humor. At all.

Interestingly, I enjoyed The Hangover, which normally wouldn't be my kinda movie at all, but there was enough other stuff for me to find it funny. It makes me wonder if I'm missing out on other ones. But I REALLY hated the traliers for this one.

Eh, just cause I'm not a fan of grossout humor. And it looks like that's what this mostly is.

btw - I thought I saw you in the skyways a week or so ago. I think I figured out it was you just as it was too late to say anything. Do you work downtown? smile

Yeah I do. I work for m&i downtown! nod U work here too?

I think you would like it. There is only one gross scene of the film (which was one of the funniest) but really is how Kristen Wiig goes for the gold in this film with her random-ness...this film really plays on the unwritten slapstick and I think that makes it more realistic to the viewer.

I went with my hopes down and was pleasantly suprised.

I heard this new one was over the top too....that is what I didnt like about the first one. U cant out do a hangover that was over the top and unrealistic in the beginning... Hopefully Zach does a good job though.

Yeah its alot of drama. With this however imagine how many tattoo artists will try and sue because of a design. Yet to add, SOPILER ALERT Mike Tyson did appear in Hangover II anyway..so I dont get what's the big deal? That design may have been custom made by the artist; however should he recieve royalties for it's use on someone who already appears in the film? I didnt see him complaining when the first one came out.

It bothers me when people say the movies over the top. It kinda is supposed to be, that's the point, It's not a documentary.

Going with low expectations always helps too. I dont know why people always fall for hype.

This isn't a gross-out movie, so don't worry about that.

If you have to go see it, stay for only the first hour. After she ****SPOILER ALERT***** dumps the cop, the movie loses its punch and Wiig's character becomes unlikeable.

But the first hour is REALLY funny.

No ~ his issue is that they copied the Tyson tat (his custom designed artwork) on somebody else for the movie w/o getting his permission as the artist

Actually, her dumping the cop is realistic and understandable for that character...the rest of the movie is totally unrealistic...albeit somewhat funny.

I still thought it was kinda cute, in a chick flick sorta way.

I saw it at the theater and I'll pay to see it again. I can't wait for the DVD 'cause I know there are going to be lots of extras. It's funny how a lot of the t.v. trailers are parts that aren't in the movie.

i.e. Maya Rudolph diving in front of that car on the street.

The chubby girl talking about putting oil all over her body.

The whole cast are experts in improve so i'm sure a lot was left out.

Anyone seen the extras in the ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO dvd? Hilarious!!!!!!!! Justin Long had me rolling!!!!
