UGH I still hate that she even thought of an imaginary murderer, a brother at that. I loved it when all the black folks at Union saw her being hauled off to jail. One of the white women was like "CRY BITCH!" The black woman was like "SHE NEED TO CRY!"

I think this one is definitely different.

Susan Smith was very calculated and methodical, but in my opinion clearly insane. Her obsession with the rich dude had reached a point that this lady wasn't thinking straight. It doesn't mean that she isn't evil--any woman who drowns her own children, and sits there watching the car sink when it happens is bat-shit evil. Smith was far more cold and calculated, but clearly delusional.

Casey and Crystal are hood rats with so many quirky tendencies, I can't understand how either of them functioned at all. Casey's case is far worse than Crystals in that her lies were so sloppy, it's unbelievable that she still persists with some of them; but, I'm pretty convinced that if each lady was miraculously acquitted and released, we'd just see them in the headlines again 10 years later for some other bullshit.

Susan doesn't appear she's be a repeated offender.

I could be wrong. I find both types fascinating. Susan's is fascinated because of the obsession and the fixation--it reminds me of 'crazy' fans who threaten celebrities they obsess over---like the ones in the M&M forum.

Casey and Crystal are fascinating because of how sloppy they are. I mean, how could Casey not know she'd be a prime suspect? Immediately joining hot-body contests after the murder indicates she had no iota of an idea what kind of shit she was in. It's just stunningly stupid and sloppy. Crystal's string of crimes after the Lacrosse case are so numerous and varied, it shocks me why she was cognizant that she would be under the eagle eye. Their murders are extremely different though, as Crystal's in my opinion was a crime of passion.

I think the main reasons all of them shock me is that they are women. I'd expect this batshit stuff from men, but women always shock me when they commit these kinds of crimes, especially against children.
