The fact you lump Cannabis in with "drugs" makes it evident that you're beyond brainwashed. Your insistance on dismissing scientific fact does make me laugh.

This thread is not about you and how much you love pot.
It's about a child of 15 who is homeless, getting kicked out of school, bad grades, screwing around with girls and in order to sedate himself is smoking pot.
This isn't about having fun at a party. This is about a child who's life is falling apart and he is smoking pot, which prevents him from realizing that he has to do something about it, before it's too late.
99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

leave it out, mate. you might be the only guy who gets less boring after a spliff. everyone's a fruit & nut case

I don't think you're qualified to state why he is smoking pot. Furthermore, I don't think you're qualified to suggest those behaviors are the roots of the problem, either. Lastly, those behaviors are conducted by responsible people all the time - it has nothing to do with why this kid is fucked up.

^ no. spinlight is right about cannabis. it has a multitude of positive applications. there is a good reason for rpescription cannabis. and the only reason cannabis is not legal has more to do with political infighting in the 1920s and 1940s than concerning anything related to its overall psychotropic effects.
if you're concerned about social damage, statistically alcohol is by far and away the most costly, addictive, legal drug in america right now. and if you want to be concerned about 'drugs and society' take a closer look at chantix, ambien and some of the other designer brain candy being mass marketed to an unsuspecting public.
BUT this thread is about the kid.
the kid is fifteen and living a lifestyle he shouldn't be. he needs to be able to make his way in the world before he can choose a lifestyle for himself. so, he needs to be in school, learning. he should be in the care of some one responsible enough to keep him in line until he can safely reach adulthood.
it depends on if you're willing to figuratively smack him upside the head and reign him in, sounds like that's what it will take. if that isn't his mom, and it isn't you, cbarnes3121, then imo it should be social services of some kind. good luck

Don't turn the child away. At 15 years old, this kid is biologically unprepared to deal with a burden as big as being homeless. If you choose not to let him live in your house, you should be responsible enough to find a safe place for him to stay. If you let him stay at your house, make sure he understands that there are behaviors you see in him that you will not tolerate, and stick to your guns when he tests you (because mostly likely, he will test you).
As for the sex and weed, I hate to say it, but that's pretty common. I know girls that started drinking and/or having sex at 13. Many adults lose their virginity during their teenage years. There's not much you can do to keep him from having sex, but make sure he understands the reprocussions and always always ALWAYS uses protection. Just inform him, that's all you can do. As for the weed, again, just educate him. Make sure he understands the negative effects of smoking, and then step back and let him decide. If weed is illegal in your state, I'd take a more forceful approach in getting him to stop.
You might want to take him to a psychiatrist, but from what you've told us, his behavior seems like average teenage stuff. If he is violent, then that's a different story.
Whatever you do, don't abandon him because his attitude is difficult. Being a teenager can be tough, and it seems like he'll grow out of this phase in a few years. time flies.
