How do you back up your home videos? Anybody burn to DVD? If so, any recommendations for the easiest way to transfer QuickTime to disc? Can I just drag it into an iTunes playlist and do the do that way?

Hey, Ace!
I can't remember the name of it (and I'm not at home right now), but I got a gadget from Amazon that allowed me to record from my TV to my computer. I have a DVD/VCR combo player, so I was able to hook it up directly to that and record onto my computer, which I could then make a DVD off of.

Lordy Chile, There's no reason to back those files up. It's not like you can take them with you when Jesus comes for us this October anyhow.

Hey now!
No problem putting them on my comp. As I said, they're QuickTime files and I'm just wondering what the easiest method is of burning them to DVD.

Personally, I never messed with quicktime files, but the easiest solution is ConverXtoDVD. MP4 or Mpeg4 and quicktime files are essentially the same formats so the converter should work. Please note that the software is no longer free, but there's a link to an older free version if you go to that site. If it doesn't work for you let me know.
