If you did something nice for another person today,let's hear about it.

I'll start. Tonight I found a Panasonic palmrecorder with a wide angle lens at my local post office. It was just sitting on the counter, and no one was in the post office. The first thing that entered my mine was why would an expensive camcorder be left on a counter and then I thought maybe it was some Candid Camera show. Yes, I thought that was a silly idea too. So I walked out of the post office and I had my mom in the car and told her about it. I said it's so strange that it's just sitting there. She didn't know exactly what kind of equipment I was talking about, so I went back in and brought it out to show her. I sat in the car for a few minutes thinking someone must have lost it but how would I find the owner the post office was closed. I decided that I would keep it and go to the post office on Monday and let them know that I found a camcorder and if someone lost it they could contact me. Of course I had planned on asking anyone that would claim the recorder to give me a detailed description before I would release it.

As we sat in the car for about 5 minutes, I saw a teenage boy walk into the post office franticly looking around for something. I opened my car door and asked him if he was looking for something and he said my camera. I said I think this is yours and handed him the camera. He was very happy to say the least and said the camera cost $700. His mother had just pulled up and she had explained the situation of how the camera had been left behind when her son was making a telephone call from the post office and several teenagers were giving him a difficult time. The son was calling him mom to get a ride home and I guess he forgot the camera with the situation with the other teenagers bothering him. The teenager and his mom had driven a couple miles and he realized that he had left the camera behind. So the mother was driving her son back to find it. The mom called me a saint and I laughed at that and said I'm glad I could help. That kind of made me feel good tonight.

That's a cool story. I did something nice for someone today but I won't be going into any detail about it.

I suppose I have done something nice for someone today. I sent my very recent ex a text message on his mobile phone, telling him that I will leave him alone from now on. It isn't as sinister as u think...honest! And believe, I am sure that will be viewed as very nice indeed by him!!

Today was my mom and dad's anniversary and I bought them tickets to go on a romantic train ride, where they also had a prime rib dinner.
